Geez, come on now..- his teammates came to get the ball and KD threw it to the other team.

And, he is washed as a PRIMARY player, he is a SNIPER, a GREAT shooter, but he doesn't run, he doesn't rotatate on D, and his passing SUCKS.

Now you are blaming IME and that might be true, it might now - KD is being used wrong, I have been SCREAMING that all year, he should be a closer, nothing more - let him do what he does best because at his age he is slowing WAY WAY down, you can see it, but he can still PULL on that Jimmy.

Well --- we can debate whether KD is washed as a PRIMARY player........ but on the Rockets he IS the primary player because the difference between him and the second best Rocket is massive.

 

On offense, yes, but does not fit. Fit is the issue. KD needs to go, but not for another Ime guy.

Alpi should be a stretch 4 bc he's too soft to be the primary rim protector... but cant shoot from distance...
Amen should be playing sf and feasting from the dunker spot... bc again, he cant shoot from distance...
Reed could develop into a good pg... but he didnt fully have the skillset this year...

Despite being 7' KD is a sg at this point... he needs to hang on the perimeter draining buckets... with the occasional penetration... which is exactly what this team needs...

It isnt about KD fitting... its all the other pieces on this poorly constructed roster...

If Alpi and Amen can develop an outside shot...
If Reed continues to develop his handles and decision making....
If Fred comes back healthy...
If Adams returns to help at the rim....

This is true, the second best player on the rockets doesn’t turn the ball over when someone in the crowd whispers the word double team. The second best player on the rockets can also bench press more than a paper clip and doesn’t struggle to get space from g league players like Laravia.

Durant is really good at shooting jump shots and ruining team chemistry though I’ll give him that.

Durant is an elite shooter but he’s brings very little elsewhere and he’s unwilling to change his game at all. Hes a complete negative in the locker room and doesn’t make anyone better around him. And this has been the case for years.

KD is an ******* but he's right. Jabari work harder not smarter with a fluky shot and Sengun can't guard a cone and misses bunnies. So while not the nicest thing, screw your feelings and get in the lab. And to both of their credit, it seems that's what they did.
