More Rocket polling - Ime among least impressive coaches in the league

Without arguing over the premise of this poll (IMO it's kind of stupid), isn't he tied for 15th, so literally translating to middle of the pack in terms of impressiveness (again, according to this poll)? Where are you getting "least impressive"?

 

Mostly younger guys at the top, mostly older guys at the bottom.

That's why JVG, Mike Malone, Kerr, etc. are terrible options for a team looking to the future.

 

Ime got exposed this yr. It’s safe to say Ime being a recruitment draw for this team is over. So without that u just have the poor coaching…and of course the lack of self accountability.

 

Have any of the people polled like....watched the Celtics?

Mazulla is like if Ime was obsessed with 3s instead of defensive tweeners forwards.

 

I am fairly certain that we will bring in an offensive coordinator. I think there is enough pressure on the organization to force that.

 

When we hired Ime I was so excited. I thought "finally a coach others want to play for." Now after this season, and taking no accountability, showing his lack of creativity, other than blaming the players, I think "dammit, a coach no one will want to play for." Ugh.

 

The fact that anyone voted for Ime says one if the players involved is a completely worthless scrub hoping to get a Tate type situation going.

 

As I said in another post. Ime cheating on Nia Long was the best thing to happen to the Celtics. I was even fooled by Ime. I knew he was a defensive coach but I had no idea he was this limited at offense. Instead of getting a Popp clone we got JVG part 2.

 

Damn man, we've built a whole lot of nothing.

 

His replacement is not good. They won 1 ring when they had a stacked roster and never faced a healthy team in the playoffs. The other 3 years were horrible collapses as heavy favorites. If this happened to Rockets no one on here would say that Mazulla was the best thing to happen to the franchise, lol.

They cut costs, Ime would be dying out there with Jaylen Brown alone and some guy called Scheyerman, without a proper Center.....

Plus Udoka does not play Pritchard.

 

Its because youre misrembering history. They lost with Ime because they couldnt score. Same issue as now just less talent,

That the coach who puts his players in positions to not play to their strengths, but rather expose their weaknesses is voted a garbage coach.
