True about him complaining on every play. He is competing with Luka on this. Something about Sengun this year was different. Looked overweight and slow.
Because players (and the league) care about how members of the media cover the sport. They have “press conferences” before or after games and “media scrums.” They have post game interviews with network tv analysts. They don’t bring in random fans to ask probing questions to later post about anonymously on Reddit. There are only a few ways to measure the silly idea of “which players are overrated” and that involves all-star selections, end-of-year awards, media coverage, salary, sponsorships, etc. Sengun made the all-star game because someone else got injured. He didn’t win any awards. He’s barely mentioned in the media. He doesn’t have a top-40 salary. He’s not in any national commercials. Players probably find him off-putting for his on-the-court antics (flexing in their direction after dunks, constant whining and whirling his finger for replays, etc.) It’s not because they are bitter about all the endless (non-existent) praise and accolades he gets. Silly poll. Sengun isn’t overrated. He’s just annoying (to some).
Not a fan of the whining, but getting other team's bigs in foul trouble is kind of what our coaches ask him to do.

He shouldn’t have made the All Star game but I don’t think he’s overrated. He is still a good one on one player and teams know this. That’s why they double him. He just isn’t a smart player or consistent and that’s why he’s not a great player. He isn’t on billboards and ads or have tons of endorsements and he isn’t that popular so I don’t think he’s overrated.
Damn Sengun has really run out of all excuses when the only thing people can say about this is it's racist.
Instead, let's make the poll more about the most underrated players, the best up-and-coming players, the best veteran presences, the most coachable, the most athletic, the most likely to be a future GM, etc. Uplift instead of throwing stones. (Also, let's make it very clear only 81 dudes out of 450+ participated in this poll, so please don't pretend like it's definitive.) I don't know. Just my take.
