Come one, you know Rockets only understand "numbers" when they're presented in dumb acronyms and based on estimates. The ALPI/48 metric is a "catch all" metric that compares the number of finger twirls a player makes every game compared to an estimated "replacement player" and then normalised over a 48 minute game time, and this is the metric we use to define the most overrated. It's voted by the players, not the fans. Sengun is treated like a star player on the Rockets. The players don't agree because he's Charmin soft and only has 2 moves: twirl into the paint, or twirl his finger when he gets blocked. Hopefully it'll give him some motivation like it did Hali and he comes back a lot better because of it.
Sengun is a great player...let's be honest, last season he deserved the All-star nod, but this season Sengun only was selected as an All-star due to injuries. Sengun supposed to be our 1A, but couldn't do **** without KD in the playoffs...trade his a$$ for Giannis or Jaylen Brown...at least both of them made it to the Finals and won a Finals MVP.
I think this motivates him next year like Luka first summer in La. I don’t want him traded anymore! I honestly want him at the PF spot and get a real defensive center to clean up his mistakes.
Needs to drop like 20 pounds. His body doesn’t change all summer. He needs to stop playing in Turkey.
