Interesting, I said the same thing you guys said about harden and I thought I was crazy the way people were defending him

 

Cavs had no business losing this game. They are more talented than the Pistons but lost because there were outhustled and lost their poise. The only way the Pistons can win the series is to continue dominating these 3 differentials: Offensive glass, turnovers and FTs because they just don't have enough juice on offense.

Unfortunately, I think the Cavs will figure things out and win the series.

Harden scored like 13 of the last 17 and actually tied the game up for the Cavs in the 4th.

Meanwhile all NBA player Donovan Mitchell laid an egg again and Evan Mobley is on a milk carton in Akron somewhere .

Course the knives will be out for 35 year old Harden instead of the 2 theoretically better players in their primes... Hmmmm

 

I didn't watch the game, but box score shows Cade and Duren went 10/30 and Harden again had more turnovers than field goals. I think Schroeder needs to start and Harden needs to play off ball, taking Wade's minutes. This could help with scoring and reduce Harden's turnovers. I'm no GM, just worth a look if the offense continues to fail.

 

Great idea actually. Too bad Cavs coach don’t got balls like Milk Hair. He’s been benched for much worse with great results such as 38 year old Prigioni and Jet Terry.

+/- really is one of the best stats.

Really just have to consult the matrix to see whether it’s “useful” for each individual poster and the player in question.

Does poster like or dislike the player.
Was the players +/- positive or negative.

If poster likes player but player has negative +/- then poster ignores stat for that game or series.

If poster dislikes player but player has positive +/- then poster ignores this stat for game or series.

If poster likes player and player has positive +/- then poster emphasizes this stat for game or series.

If poster dislikes player and player has negative +/- then poster emphasizes this stat for game or series.

I literally proved that the cavs are better without harden long term over the season using net rating and plus minuses and you guys can't handle it lmao. It has nothing to do with my "dislike" of harden and has everything to do with just educating people of how he hasn't been as good as people think he has for the cavs. But I am apparently the bad guy for having a rational debate using data and research
