    I thought he did a great job early, and then had a really rough end. Not as bad as some, but the moves were much more regular-season wins.

    I'd say some similarities to Stone in that Toronto has a competitive team that can win games. I think the Rockets are a stronger version of the no Top Ten guy team, have more flexibility with roster, and better draft capital.

    Yeah I think he's a bit overrated honestly. Toronto for most of his years there were pretty much irrelevant.

    Players get hurt every year. The Raptors were a good team for many years that had one great run. They earned their rings.

    It's the early 2000s all over again.

    Wemby = Duncan
    Flagg = Dirk

    Rockets will have Amen, Sengun (T-Mac, Yao) a flawed roster that can never compete with the true franchise MVP-calibre players that SA and Dallas has.

    He knows what he is doing overall, sometimes when you are with the same team / company they expect you to keep getting better every year, the pressure from ownership and fans being impatient leads to these decisions. Morey to outsiders looked like he was making bad moves late in his Houston tenure, giving PG that contract was questionable, but overall he has the team headed in the right direction. Smart people know when they have made a mistake and pivot with constant self evaluation. Stupid people have an issue with ever self reflecting, arrogance and ego dominate their decisions, and that is what we have with Stone and this current front office.

    Tilman did not spend any time evaluating roles to build out a front office, he just had what was currently in place just take over roles without really thinking too much, this is based on his interviews and actions following the acquisition. I have seen people do this in M&A over a 20 year career, these are usually the worst types of owners and operators.

    Technically Ujiri has a Doctorate in Law from the University of Toronto. It is honorary but it still counts.

    Has Dallas got their full payback for the Luka trade or will the NBA give them the top pick again?

    Historically GMs who are good and then become horrible for years never recover, he would be basically a unicorn if he does it

    How can SAS get KD when they already got Fox? Contracts dont work. When they got Fox they didnt have Harper yet only Castle.

    I agree. but also they are in the East. Rockets are 23-7 vs the East which be 62 win record and top seed if they were in the East lol.

    You realize Sixers are so bad RN? They got swept in the second round with everybody healthy or at least playing, they are locked to PG, Embiid and Maxey to max deals, they gonna give their pick to OKC and they sold high on Mccain for our shitty pick? At least Rox has the excuse of 100M injured and will be able to reset in 2027, what about Sixers? Team has 3 max contracts cant do **** and is a part of the reason OKC is so good giving them Mccain and Isiah Joe. They have no assets other than their own picks and they got toxic contracts cuz of washed vets, wow what a surprise looking at his Houston tenure. PG literal max contract as the 4rth option bro lmao and you think thats smart?

    Yeah Morey is so smart he knows what he is doing alright. Ask Sixers fans how smart Morey is.

    Funny you call Stone and our FO stupid and you think Morey has done a great job lol.

    Didnt stone also admit it wasnt our year? Not sure why Stone got flamed for that while Ujiri saying the same thing is praised.

    He explicitly stated, "I messed up. I didn't do a good job for our team," referring to being "patient to a fault" with the roster and not pivoting to a rebuild sooner.

    im tired of arguing with you brother. You believe what you believe. I believe what I believe. We agree to disagree. Move on.

    Also. Shame on you for not getting the joke.
