I'd trade them all (Sengun, Amen, Reed & KD). All I want in return is 3 picks in this draft.

    #6-7
    #11-12
    #22-24

We have a lot of non shooting players.

Adams, Capela,Tate, Eason, Sengun and Thompson.

Obviously Thompson is not going anywhere but we need to consolidate the others for something good.

I'm not against trading Sengun, just not for a star at the end of his prime like Giannis, especially not a guy whose biggest strength is physical. Like it or not, he is one of our best assets. If we trade him, we better get something good FOR THE FUTURE of the team. If you think getting Giannis next year will make us a contender, think again.

Or better yet, we could keep "the farm" only getting rid of cancerous Dickerson, and let them all reach their prime to see what we actually have. I think Prime Alpi, Amen, and Reed will be something special. Three unselfish players with unique skills all at least two years away from reaching their prime is something to hold onto and let grow into all they can become. In 3-4 years if it doesn't work out then sell "the farm".

Oof. That would be truly starting over. Jabari and maybe Tari plus three rookies is going to be ugly, basically no matter how good the rookies end up being.

Spurs tank and end up with bigs like Wemby and guards like Dylan Harper

Rockets tank and end up with bigs like Sengun and guards like Jalen Green and Reed Sheppard

    we’re so cursed it’s unreal

that 2021 draft: 1 pick away from Cade who alone would’ve made the tank job successful

What we're doing isn't going to be successful in the ultimate goal.

Doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

They'll run it back and see that it isn't working and hit the reset button after next year, Stone & Ime will be gone, we'll get another tank commander .... may as well do that now and have a clean cap in the process.

But it wouldn't be simply Jabari and maybe Tari plus 3 rookies.

Unless you are dealing with cap space teams, you are going to take back salary - there are 2 cap space teams in the league, they'd come away with a couple decent players just matching salaries.

Keep Sengun. Trade KD for Giannis.

Sengun plays better with another big to help anchor the D. Surrournd them both with more shooters.

I am not against keeping the farm. In fact, that's what I was thinking at the beginning of this season. But after a disappointing season, I am finally ready for breaking up the young core. Sengun and Amen were the closest for us to turn into a true franchise guy. But the lack of progress in their development makes it less likely now. Sengun has stagnated. Amen has improved in some ways but not the kind of breakout leap that signals the making of a superstar. I am not giving up on them just yet. But it's looking kind of bleak.

non shooting means not being able to shoot 3 at all or at a very low%. Eason a career 35% shooter doesn’t belong in this category.

I have pretty much given up on the idea that any of them are superstars.

    I'd trade any of them.

But I don't want a Giannis trade. After the season we just had full of injuries, I can't take another one. Adding Giannis to FVV, Durant and Adams is just a disaster waiting to happen, none of them can stay healthy for 82+ the playoffs.

I don't want <insert player name here> I want lottery balls, both in this draft and in the future. Just give me a couple guys match salary, don't wreck my cap beyond a 2 year window and can win enough games to stay out of the bottom 4 of the lottery.

I'd trade Amen or Sengun right now for a pick in the 5-6-7 range of this draft - hell you can have Tari in a sign and trade for a pick around 20-25.

It's just payback for those coin flips and #1 picks. You can even throw in Lebron trying to enter the 2002 draft but being denied. I wonder if we would've taken him over Yao?

Build around Amen. One of KD or Sengun can stay if needed. Between the 3 of those guys, they need the ball in the mid range too often. I believe keeping KD is better if we must. he is efficient with those shots and he could push out and shoot the 3 ball more.

If FVV plans on giving us a discount for a couple years then do that but we should also treat him if we think we are only going to have him this season.. Free 25 million….. extend to 3 year 50 million with team options after his first (25 million in 26-27) and second season. Would hit the cap for 12.5 million in 27-28 and 28-29.
FVV, Smith, Sheppard, Adams all fit well with Thompson. but other than that, every player of the rotation has to be able to shoot from three and a couple new players have to be able to initiate offense for themselves and other themselves and others.

    Targets for building out team

    -Jaylen Brown
    -Mitchell
    -Okongwu
    -Brandon Miller
    -Ware
    -Herro
    -Wiggins
    -Towns
    -Anuoby
