    Weiss: Homer-prone bag of trash
Imai: mentally fragile flaming pile of money
McCullers: expensive milquetoast injury prone zombie
Burrows: underperforming waste of prospects with a bad attitude
Abreu: former ice block that turned into a mud puddle
    Brown, Javier, Hader: who?
De Los Santos, Bolton, Okert, Blubaugh, Sousa: Charlie Brown’s pitching staff

Arrighetti, Teng, Lambert, and King are cool. For now.

Weiss has a 7.88 ERA. This game is over.

Dumb and Dumber baseball by the Stros. Dumb is Paredes trying to get a double play on Ohtani, who once had 59 SBs. Then close to being the worst team in baseball trying to save the bullpen?!?!?!? Dodgers just had 2 batting practices today, one with Weiss pitching, there wasn't a ball hit that was slow, all of them were lasers. I'm sure Space Cowboys have some pitchers.

The pitching is so bad no starters and the bullpen is sad.

I think Burrows will turn things around.

Time to bring up Pecko and Ulolla.

Ullola will walk hitters like these Stros pitchers do. But might as well bring him up. Can he be any worse than Weiss? Man Dana really made some bad choices putting this staff together. BTW, Okert isn't the pitcher he was last yr. Pecko can give the Stros 5 ip giving up 2-3 runs which would be much better than the crap they're throwing out there tonight. Having a bad BP and throwing a BP game is insane to me. Bring up Pecko and see if he's at least better than say Bolton. I wonder why they didn't pitch Costanzo tonight instead of using him in relief.

I want to see us score some more runs just to see who Espada pitches later in the game. He has pretty much no one left to use in the pen.

We have plus arms throwing but they throw straight fast balls, with zero movement, seems we don't know how to pitch.

No. Both he and Hader are supposed to pitch for Sugar Land tomorrow.

With all of the walks I would say their fastballs aren't too straight.

Tonight was very merciful. Only lose by 5. Repeat, then a 2-1 win... whatever order.

Hopefully Lambert can survive 5 IP. Astros need starters, not bullpen games.
    __

Dodgers must be great with runners on because their overall offensive stats seem weak. No Betts, plus a few players underperforming 100+ OPS from career averages.

Dodgers have two starters with 12 starts with near 6.00 ERA -- the Astros missed BOTH of them this series.

Probably going to send Weiss down to get another fresh arm like Gordon. Rinse and repeat due to the lack of depth and length being provided by the pitching staff.

Why would Espada use Teng for 2 innings?

He's arguably been their best relief pitcher.

    Bring up Pecko.
