Of course they can, but we need a better coach that sets screens to help, our coach is ISO ISO ISO the STAR ****ER - instead of actually creating opportunities with movement and screens.

Casuals can't see it though, they have their tongues stuck to the ball sack of Durant.

I mean sure they can without KD but in that scenario they would need to draft a guy that can put the ball in the hoop from anywhere and get anywhere or trade for said player. The current guys on this roster with or without a new coach don't have that ability. I could care less about the regular season. In the playoffs you absolutely need a scorer.

Don't worry, whatever team KD ends up going to has a forum you can join. The rest of us will be watching our young core grow.

Yes, they need a proper CREATOR - which KD is not.......someone who is a pass first player on the dribble - who makes everyone better.

Does anyone have KD exit interview? I think he hasn’t talked since Game 2. It is odd for a team’s best player to not say anything at the end of the season.

The Rockets ran tons of screens this year - it didn't help that they had probably the (eye test) worst screen setting center in the league setting a large number of them or that you could go under for most players.

Anyway you can call people casual or whatever but they're no plausible way to argue they were better without Durant - eye test, stats, whatever.

In fact this was actually, by offensive rating - the best team in franchise history in absolute terms (118 ORTG).

The previous best was the Harden era teams that topped out around 115 (though that was good enough to lead the league & set records at the time).

Congratulations to Coach Udoka. Perhaps he can hire a Jeff Bzdelik type to help with the defense....?

I am an Alpi fan, but yeah he clearly studied at the Christian Wood schools of slipping oh I mean setting screens. It's like the most basic **** ever and he's soft as charmin on that front

I still think if we had KD / FVV / Adams we could have contended and surely have beaten the Lakers ----- I hope they give it one good run without breaking up the young core and our future. We have a good mix of veterans and young guns. The worse that happens is the young talent gets more experience and would certainly make the playoffs again.
