As far as Kevin, you definitely want to shave those minutes down. Wasn’t the plan going into the season.

Imagine if Morey hung onto Tracy and Yao until 2015 and blamed failures on injuries.

It just shows the utter incompetence we witnessed. How Ime is going to still be employed is beyond me

Did people actually expect anything real to be said?

It's not really even that, Ime is just taking another opportunity to throw the players under the bus in an effort to cover up his incompetence.

“We would like more skilled players.”

Translation: We would like guys who are good at basketballl.

Fukk you - I’m not in anyway part of the problem.

I think they expected them to sound competent.

True but we have never, ever heard anything from these two remotely resembling even an iota recognition of coaching / gm-ing missteps. I think a lot of fans would take some comfort at hearing at least constructive self-reflection, let alone criticism on those occasions.

All that has been done was defending themselves. Almost everything that happened was exogenous. Few was a consequence of their decisions, or lack thereof.

“I expect the players to be better, to be elite. “ Well what about yourself?

    It’s disheartening.

I suppose if you've been trashing Stone since day 1.... nothing will make him sound competent.

So... Are you enjoying / liking the narrative? Do you think this narrative will help ... energize the fanbase? Attract talent? Some other crafty, erudite lawyer plan I'm missing?

People like action and novelty. Sports are entertainment, after all. I don't really want to watch another season of this show. The writers need to remove one of these characters that the fans don't like.

Like seriously..... how often do coaches and GMs do that at the end of season of press conferences?

Do you want them to admit their mistakes so you feel like they have suffered?

I would say as far as competence goes the burden of proof would be ... any evidence that he is.

Yeah these things are always fluff and very little is revealed in them.

    *We like our team
    * We like X player on our team
    * We see some things we can do better

blah blah blah...they could blow up the team a month later with a Giannis team completely contradicting everything they've said here.

You can feel however you feel. Seems to be a lot of butt hurt over the season, which is understandable from a fandom point of view. However..... like what are you excepting from a press conference? Some fans want their pound of flesh from Stone and Ime.... and seem to upset by the hot air.

And? What are you going to do? Whine on a forum?

That pretty much tells me I should skip next season. There are better uses of my time.
