KD was unhappy because of sengun putting no effort on both ends. Someone as great as KD know when a player isn't giving their all.

Stone and Ime aint goin nowhere after b2b 52 win seasons - and given their existing contracts...

KD aint goin nowhere... to trade him after 1 season would make the org look totally inept and hinder future recruitment of stars.... and same thing if he were to request a trade...

Theoretically we may move one of our young core - if we got a no-brainer deal... but i dont see that happening...

Stone has been pushing the 'wait until next year when we are healthy' rhetoric since mid season - he aint changing course now....

Tari will go... he's shown that he isnt worth the hassle of him or his mom...

    We'll prob re-tool the bench...

but imo if anybody is expecting any major overhauls - they are going to be sorely disappointed.

i aint saying these are my desires... i'm saying this is the reality we are living in...

Please stop with this bullshit. WAS HE UNHAPPY WITH HIS OWN TUNROVERS AND INABILITY TO PASS OUT OF A DOUBLE TEAM? Was he unhappy with his own slowness on defense allowing guys just to blow right by him. Some of you post like youve never seen KD play before this season. I realize you only watch the Rockets but yoou are only getting 40% of warriors KD. This is a huge issue because the rockets for some reason thought they were getting a superstar.

He is a con artist and he has conned you just like the Suns. You realize the Suns happily traded him. They were looking for suckers and they found it in Stone and some fans here. And youre still acting like suckers. Trade Sengun IDGAF and KD will just find someone else to blame. They traded Ayton and got exactly who KD wanted and he didnt like that guy either. They fired their coach and got exactly who KD wanted and had to fire him too. ITS ALWAY SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT. Instead of admitting he isnt the same player after his injury and he's aging LETS JUST BLAME EVERYONE ****ING ELSE. Congrats on falling for the bullshit. That wont be me.

I’ve watched every Rockets game and plenty of other teams too, and you could tell he was getting frustrated. A lot of it came from us blowing leads with careless mistakes—it kept happening. On top of that, he wasn’t happy playing heavy minutes, but at the same time, whenever he sat, the team looked lost. That’s a tough spot to be in.
And to be fair, the first 25 games of the season? The vibes were great. We were playing the right way, winning games, and actually looked like a connected team. But somewhere along the line, that slipped.
That’s why the frustration makes sense. Yeah, 52 wins looks nice, but the way we got there wasn’t clean. Too many bad losses, blowing big leads to weaker teams, and constant issues in the clutch. That’s not something anyone should be satisfied with.
I’d rather KD hold guys accountable and be hard on them than be soft and let the same issues keep happening.

we should blow it up since we didn't draft a future star, not even close, but we won't.

then maybe we should trade sengun or alpi since they both can't co-exist, fire ime and get a actual good coach, but we won't.

IMO we will end up maxing/near maxing amen (a giant mistake), make some minor moves and run it back with ime, FVV and adams. in a year, we will be in a even worse position than we are right now.

You say you watched the Rockets games but I'm talking about KD's other teams he does this everywhere. This reminds me of the Suns last year how KD got frustrated and everyone acted like they couldnt survive without him but they are overall a much better team with other pieces without him. Regardless of injuries they still made the playoffs which they didnt last year. They are younger and have hope for the future. This is all the delusion of every KD team he's been on since the Warriors. The Nets werent even an above .500 team before Harden got there. KD was frustrated day one because he's always frustrated. Ayton was so bad with KD but looks like Lebron made it work. It'll be the same with Sengun or whoever you trade. He's frustrated with himself because he cant make teammates better. He was frustrated with the Nets, He was frustrated with the Suns. He was angry at the Warriors who went on to win a chip without him. IT'S HIM. I am so sick of people acting like he's the end all be all of everything because he can shoot. Its beyond stupid. He should not be here. And frankly I dont care what he's frustrated by because it'll never stop no matter who you trade.

I would like Durant to mature a bit as a player and realized that he has a special opportunity his last two years. continue to score points confront the mistake made.
I am certainly interested in trading him if we can get a good return and if the situation is unsalvageable.

Honest self reflection and apologies can go a long way. What happened on social media should not have occurred. He needs to realize that and can amends.

In a similar process, the coach in front office have to confront the shortcomings that they have failed to address and mature from them.

I have always thought going back to the day. We acquired KD that the seasons that we had the most likely outcome for success were 27/28 and 28/29.

I still think that’s possible. It would be the point in the timeline where KD is still solid and all of the young players have hopefully hit another level.

I’d prefer to Fire Stone and Udoka But since that isn’t going to happen, You just have to hope for growth.

A proper postmortem will give them a lot of guidance if they choose to be honest with themselves. And yes, I agree that a lot of the problems were glaringly obvious.

If Durant were to get the players back on his side…. I would try to execute the following plan.

    1. Bring in an additional coach from the outside to be an offensive coordinator

    To Houston
    Trey Murphy
    Dejounte Murray
    Saddiq Bey
    Okongwu

    To ATL
    Sengun
    Capela
    Future Rockets FRP lotto protected

    To NO
    NAW
    Rissacher
    2029 FRP via Phoenix
    2027 FRP via Phoenix
    FVV

    Okongwu/Adams/Smith as stretch 5.
    Smith/DFS
    Murphy/Bey
    Durant/Reed
    Amen/Murray

I watch other teams too, and I remember how it actually played out—you might be overlooking some of it. The Suns started hot because of Kevin Durant, but once he got hurt, everything unraveled. They rushed him back, and the team never really regained that rhythm.

And the issues with Deandre Ayton weren’t just about KD—it went beyond that. Even Devin Booker got into it with him, and he still has beef with him.

KD probably stays in Golden State if Draymond Green doesn’t cross the line. And in Brooklyn, it wasn’t just dysfunction—they got hit with injuries at the worst possible time. Harden wanted out because of kyrie, and the team got tired of kyrie.

That said, I’m not saying everything KD did was right—there were definitely better ways to handle certain situations.
And let's not act like lebron is the greatest teammates or something lol

I agree I wish he would lead by example instead of getting mad and blaming guys for making mistakes.
It makes the guys second guess what they are doing

I don’t think blowing it up is the answer, unless if we have a concrete strategy for the next 5-6 years. In my opinion, that’s what should happen but will not happen as we’ll know:

    1- fire stone
2- I think the fertitats will not fire ime and pay him while he is at home, so hire a ****ing offensive assistant coach for god’s sake. SOMEONE WITH AN NBA EXPERIENCE
3- If the goal is keep the roster intact, then you need to overhaul the entire bench, everyone on the bench shouldn’t suite up with a rockets jersey next season.
4- Rebuild the bench entirely with a three points threats
5- bring back tari with a realistic deal based on his performance
6- bring a solid pg back up

You dont get it. We needed leadership and he gave us whining and frustration.. texts and then he quit. He did the same with Ayton and Booker and Kyrie and Harden and Draymond. "IF IT WERENT FOR DRAYMOND". How the **** did Curry do it then? I'll answer that. Curry is what Durant wishes he was. A real ****ing leader who can lead people to a chip. He's a fake tag a long who is getting older by the mintue desperately trying to prove he is that guy from GSW. The thing is that guy only existed because of Steph. Draymond only exists because of Steph. Durant has never been that guy so he is frustrated no matter where he goes because he will never be Steph. So make a bunch of trades it wont matter unless you get rid of KD. He'll be frustrated next year too. The only thing different is he'll be older.

All those ISO plays from that area is probably why he's below average from that spot.

That offense was terrible to watch.

As much as I want FVV upgraded, I'd rather have him than nothing.

Just because a PG1 would mask some of the flaws doesn't mean they aren't flaws .... Don't run it back.

Somewhat yes but that’s his worst spot before he joined the Rockets. We just made it even worse.

FVV is better than nothing of course but we’re still going to have Amen’s defender disrupting KD ISO’s and FVV/Sengun PnR. Amen will become a garbage clean up guy. Then people are going to think he’s regressed and he’s the problem.

Just not gonna work with 2 non-shooters. Surrounding them with Durant, Sheppard and Jabari is plenty of shooting. Think about it for a moment. Durant and Reed have very good gravity if not elite. Jabari is an above average shooter. How much better shooting can we possibly get? Upgrade Bari? What about when we downgrade from Reed to FVV? It’s a great experiment we ran. Sadly it didn’t work.

If Udoka, Amen and Sengun are not committed to making it their life’s mission and to shoot a high volume even if it’s ugly for half a season - then it’s time to break this up. We can’t flush another season. If we’re willing to flush another season, why hold on to a rapidly depreciating asset like Durant?

Truly hate to say it but everything other than solving the shooting problem is just shuffling **** around.
