It would be for the pick. He is an expiring contract. Eating a bad contract is about the only way KD is going to get you a lottery pick in this draft.

Wiggins is a good player and fits. He is just a throw in to get Ware and/or a pick. His contract expires next year so he could be traded in a package at the deadline. People thinking were going to get prime time players on good contracts for KD are delusional.

I never said we were gonna get primetime players. Dont blame me for what others said lol I dont think he fits but if youre planning on trading him in your scenario I would think thats fine in my opinion. AYou dont need primetime players for KD just good picks and hopefully a young guard.

Sorry I guess i misinterpreted. Just one mid-level pick and expiring contracts is fine with me. If we can get more great, but I doubt it. I don’t think he gets traded anyway. I think Wiggins would be a decent Tari replacement for a year if he has to be part of the deal to get Ware. Tari’s gone in my opinion.

Going old and expensive is probably the best way to ensure the Rockets never go anywhere.

We're in this pickle primarily from KD injury not to mention FVV. OKC and SAS are too young and epic for us anyway and eventually (maybe) DAL. Maybe get takers for our 2 injured dudes or give them one more shot. Our young guys are like yin yang opposites who should be sharpening each other.

Wiggins is almost always healthy and we may have the setup for a late prime run by him.

I would take on Anthony Davis and put him on ice until mid March. He wants to play 20 years so the motivation is there, just need to keep him upright.

He’s no all star but Dejounte Murray is probably one of the more realistic starting level PGs to trade for with Fears breaking out. Trading Fred for him shouldn’t cost the farm like others on this list

Bringing in Murray & Jerome would be my top priorities. Most realistic way to trade and improve our team if the organization keeps Sengun & KD this summer. If KD goes for Herro then you have one deep guard rotation with Amen back at forward

I am a nerd who watches 2k rebuilds on the internet. In every simulation where we trade picks to get Giannis or some other flawed star, we suck for a decade, regardless of how many unrealistic trades and signings we do to recover from it.

I’m not into any of the AI stuff, but they got this one right and I only need my own brain to figure that out.

I'm watching this Cavs-Raptors Game 7 right now, and Mitchell is playing really well. Do you want to run it back and have another first-round exit with Sengun or Amen? The reality is that none of our young stars have true superstar potential, and we don't have many assets. We need a big change, and these are the players we can realistically get.

I like him. And I would love to ditch Sengun for a rim running center who can protect the rim to pair up with a point guard who can run pick and roll. That would open up our offense. I really like Amen but he can’t shoot or run pick and roll. We’re going no where with these two. So, be decisive and sell high on Amen and Sengun this offseason. DO NOT PAY AMEN!

I always wonder how Houston fans get so deranged.

The only way any of these players would come to Houston is if we draft them.

Not only is the city not a preferred destination, the organization has managed to underperform based on expectations.

We couldn’t convince Derek Fisher to stay on this team.

Makes me think of the 2012-13 Lakers. This almost never works, and is particularly hellish to watch when it fails. The concept of building through the draft w some trades thrown in was good, but due to bad luck and mistakes, it failed. **** happens.

Also, didn't Butler screw us over by using us as leverage? Maybe even more once? Let's not go down that road again.
