Basically saying they have little guard pressure......team building 101.

88% Rockets are forwards and DFS.

Oh guys i was believing, that the Rockets make History but it looks that i was believing more then the Roaster! I dont know how bad a team can play in a Home game! This Game was simular to the Warriors Game 7 last year! Nothing worked on the court! I am very sad, to see the how the Lakers won the game. They need to make some moves after the season. I think the KD project is not going well. Trading KD and Fred Van Vleet for some shooting and a PG. And i love Steven Adams but is always injured. You can be contender if with a perma injured second Center.

That's not really a surprise. Houston starts a weak defender in Reed and have no rim protection. OKC has no weak defenders and elite rim protection. The difference is night and day.

I dont think Reed/Sengun are included in Houston's "absolute best" defensive lineups that JJ is talking about. Their "absolute best" certainly wouldnt include both of them together.

Meaning Houston can throw their "absolute best" defensive lineup out there and thats just a basic average lineup for OKC.

The real "no surprise" here is they have an overall better team and better coaching.

That is an small market organization that had to go thru drafts and trades for decades.

    Perfected it for certain.

Edwards played through a serious Knee Strain, KD nursed a boo boo.

Dude...your obsession with pinning everything on Reed is really weird.

Its extremely misguided because it misses the big elephant in the room...the rockets have a **** defense regardless of if Reed is on the court or not. The numbers back it up.

The rockets play 5 wing defenders and then still give up wide open layups. Reed is not a great defender by any means but this hyperbole and personal vendetta really excuse and miss the big problem. That despite Udoka's "dEfEnsE fUrST" this guy can't even do that

Edwards is a weird guy. He seems like a horrible person IRL but somehow he's a dawg and a half when it comes to actually playing basketball.

We’re gonna miss the point if we think that’s the entire issue.

The 7 foot shooters don’t pressure the ball, I could dribble with KD or Jabari guarding me. They’d stuff me if I tried to shoot but they wouldn’t take the ball. If they got too close I could probably get around them.

Their only way of applying pressure is the shot clock.

Funny how they don’t make OKC play a home game at 9:30pm

Anthony Edwards is 24 years old. If KD was 24, he probably could have played through whatever it was.

The issue is that none of the Rockets young core can create their own shot.

Then to make things worse, they have a coach who refuses to run a modern offense. Instead, he thinks somehow Reed and Alperen will magically turn into Stockton and Malone while spamming simplistic pick and roll looks over and over again.
