    Ime even hates offensive players.

Ime selected Steven Adams, Josh Okogie, and Clint Capela over those offensive players

This take really needs to stop.

Bari is absolutely bodied by point guards for god sakes. He would be the worst defensive C in the entire league.

And yes, even worse than those who claim Sengun is the worst big man in the league.

Literally weak side blocks are the only thing he is good at defensively.

He can't stay in front of people on the perimeter. He isn't strong enough to stop point guards backing him down. He is an absolute joke in off-ball defense, constantly making wrong decisions. What exactly do you think he'll accomplish as a C?

G2 tells you Rockets even can't win with KD playing over the Lakers without Luka and Reaves.

    Luka + Reaves >>> Freddy + Adams

So it means we still wouldn't beat the Lakers with healthy lineup for both team.

Don't take injury for your pathetic loss any longer. It makes me feel more disgusting.

I don’t know how you felt after Silas got fired but many if not most fans were yelling and complaining about Sengun not getting the ball enough and how the offense needs to run through him. Well guess what? Udoka did just that. He made JG and guard play secondary to Sengun as everything runs through him. Many of you cheered. 2 years later these people are complaining about Udoka being inept and stupid and terrible.

This is very much like the Sheppard situation where he isn’t good enough at this moment yet you all shouted and shifted blame and demanded he be given more minutes and playing time. Well he got just that and you all got what you wanted. Then he floundered and flopped.

If fans get what they wanted then why complain? Why continue to fire up the hate mob and yell and scream everyday? Baffles me. The fact is Sengun is a good one on one player and decent passer so udoka made him a main hub. It’s either make him the hub or let Amen and Durant dominate touches and playmaking which reduces Sengun’s impact. Pick your poison. Sengun as a hub unfortunately gives this team structure and the best chance to win. But as we now know he’s not good enough and collectively we aren’t either

Did we forget that Sengun went through long stretches of inconsistency? It actually worked when we mixed in Bari at the 5 at times. This roster is built to be long, athletic, and versatile.

And I never said full time center or anything like that. I'm just saying we should see it from time to time if we need to open up the floor on offense.

White and Dosunmu were out of the question. Bulls wanted too much for 4 month rentals. We are already thin at the 3 and 4 positions. Trading Eason for a guard means having to use DFS in the playoffs. Kennard plays no defense and no rebounding and he’s also a guard. And the Rockets would have had to add more players to match contracts. Eason is on a 4 mil rookie deal. This isn’t fantasy basketball. Trades are complicated.

The Houston Rockets really remind me of the NY Knicks Tom Thibedeou teams before Jalen Brunson.

    Carmelo Anthony Knicks also

Pure nonsense. You get their Bird rights, it was easy to match salaries by adding Jeff Green or DFS depending upon what was required, and the reality is that Amen is a forward and not a guard.

bird rights doesn’t mean you can or should sign any player and bird rights still fill up cap space (cap hold). White is seeking 25-30 mil a year. Dosunmu is likely going to cost 17-25 mil. These are not cheap contracts. Why would they add DFS to the deal if they’re giving up Eason? So you’re looking at trading multiple players and picks for rentals. Amen is a guard this year and would still likely play the 2. Donsumu is a small 2 and white is a 1/combo. Again this aint fantasy basketball

What do you mean? Having a GM with zero coaching experience or scouting experience and having him hire a first time head coach that the GM didn’t respect is a problem for player development? How about bringing in a criminal in Porter that berated the players and staff and a loser in Wood that literally told the coaches “no” when asked to do things? What’s the problem? John Lucas brought a bag of balls every morning and did drills with Sengun and Jalen Green (when he didn’t have an excused absence from the GM).

Are you telling me that spending no real money, resources or emphasis on player development for years has hurt the Rockets younger players development?

I am shocked that the plan of SUCK and purposely lose and have a cancerous environment for years - get lottery picks and put them in a bad situation until you decide you are ready to compete - didn’t result in 19-21 year olds magically getting better. I am stunned…

The Stone plan is comically simple and poorly thought out - you could write it on a cocktail napkin.

Trade everyone + lose every game + bring in crappy influences in locker room + hire rookie coach and undermine him and his staff + let young players just play +sign/trade for old/injury prone players + hire strong coach + inexperienced coaching staff = magically young players great and championship

The thought process is just so irrational

Silas was only a joke at teaching kids. Ime would be great to be teaching kids at the start of a tanking process. I think Ime is the kids coach and Silas is the veterans coach.

Silas btw is ten times the offensive coach and tactician. Brad Stevens wanted Silas on Mazzulla's staff for this very reason. Mazzulla of course was doing Ime's job on the offensive end for the Celtics.

The saddest thing of all though is that we even have to state Udoka is better than Silas overall. lol We wanted a winning coach. No one signed up for "well he's better than Silas".

I really believe there will be another Rebuild after Ime Udoka, Kevin Durant, Fred VanVleet, Steven Adams are gone.

Rebuild with Amen Thompson as a #2 option. Still need a Star Point Guard. That can dribble and shoot, can defend bugger guards. Reed Sheppard plays like a bench player still.
