Amen and Sengun suck as shooters and are a big part of why the spacing is garbage. Sengun isn’t even really all that efficient on 2’s and defensively he is at best mediocre.

Sengun can pass and can rebound and is good in the post in certain match ups. However he doesn’t run the floor well or protect the paint - he is very hard to fit on a team.

Amen is a dud outside of the paint, but at least he defends well and does run the floor. Still, has yo basically have 4 shooters around him and that’s difficult. I think Amen is still getting better though.

Maxey isn’t a perfect player but he is a high level scorer. Rockets could have had him in Harden deal but choose not to.

If you can't get a franchise player from the draft, you want to be the team who find a Harden, SGA, or Haliburton. You DON'T want to be the team that give them up.

I don't mind trading part of the young core other young talents. But please don't trade them for some over the hill stars hoping to open a "window" of contention. There is no window without a franchise guy IN HIS PRIME. trading not fully proven young players for washed stars is high risk low reward kind of deals. Ask the Clippers.

We made a few trips to the lottery - and we crapped out... thats "the process" kids... lol!

Sometimes yer the windshield - and sometimes yer the fly...

Personally, I dont like tanking... I think its crazy to waste seasons for the potential of maybe drafting some future superstar... and with the lottery revisions it will be even less enticing imo...

I urge everyone to check Maxey’s playoff numbers for the past three years including this year so far.

That was for sure a botched good trade for Harden.

Amen still has the potential but ultimately we’ve had **** luck getting a top pick.

2021 - Cade went first and Rockets 2nd
    2022 - Rockets # 3 though Chet and Banchero aren’t alphas
2023 - Wemby was the prize and we got 4th
2024 - Terrible draft with zero franchise changing players
2025 - Amazing draft with Flagg, Harper, VJ, and Kon all looking great. No pick.

All in all there hasn’t been that many alpha/franchise changing guys in the last 5 years and we’ve missed out on all of them.
