Come on guys Ime is really bad but he is not Silas level bad. Ime sucks and needs to be fired ASAP but that does not make Silas the better coach. Ime is a really bad coach. Silas was a really bad joke.

Bari put up the numbers he put up with 0 plays called for him, that’s the biggest indictment of Ime cause Ime is the one who announced it to the world.

Imagine having a player like Bari and not drawing up plays for him when Durant is getting double / blitzed and Alpi is shot putting the ball in direction of backboard

Amen and Smith are the main keepers. I have zero idea what people see in Reed. The "youth" or he's technically a rookie BS people vomit on here is annoying as hell. He's short, he isn't fast, he's a streaky shooter, plays zero defense and he has no handles. Castle, VJ, Kon, Harper and I could name more are all just as young if not younger than Reed and have done more and shown up when their teams needed them. Some times a spade is spade and as of right now Reed is less than a 6th man. But of course many will just blame Ime for all of Reeds deficiencies.

Yeah, people overrated our young guys, but Ime-ball bleeds into every aspect of the team including personnel decisions. We built a team around defense, rebounding, and iso-scoring because Ime doesn't understand offense. That's how you end up relying on one dimensional players like Steven Adams, Josh Okogie, and Clint Capela. We could've easily picked up Ayo Dosunmu, Coby White, or Luke Kennard at the deadline but we had to hold onto Tari, a guy who can't dribble, pass, or shoot - I guarantee you Ime wanted Tari over those guys.

Could’ve had Ayo without giving up Tari. Didn’t want Coby or Kennard, because they not someone you would want to re-sign. I believe the Ayo ship has sailed. Another opportunity blown by our overly conservative GM that is too scared to think out of the box.

The thing about Ime-ball is that it's not that hard to muscle your way through the NBA season on sheer size, strength, and effort. A combination of physicality and KD alone can beat the Pelicans on a Wednesday night in January. But you can't just hustle and iso your way past a playoff opponent in a 7 game series. So when Ime sits there post-game and tells the media that we weren't physical enough, that we were soft or weak, he's revealing the one card he has and that one card is not good enough.

Reed is in the same league as those guys and is a more talented offensive player than all of them. He's more athletic than Kon/Harper and probably in the same athletic tier as Castle (not VJ he's crazy). His blend of shooting, creation and intelligence is very rare (like....extremely so) and in his prime will be one of the best 3 level scorers in the league. Probably Jalen Brunson level with way more hops. His athleticism is very underrated and has been underrated for some time. Chance he doesnt get there and all he ends up being is a sparkplug 6th man but thats what people (and the Rockets FO) see in him.

You either do or you dont right now with him. Right now the Rockets still have 3 players they hope can blossom. The alternative is to find a James Harden out there somewhere that someone is willing to trade but there are teams hoping thats what they find if they *could* trade for either Jabari, Amen or Reed.

The emphasis on defense keeps the game within reach and gives you a chance to win. Besides KD we don't have anyone else that can make a star impact offensively which is why defense and rebounding is where our bread is buttered. If we had more shooters on the roster that could space the floor then the offense would look a lot better. Now you may blame Ime for the players on the roster, but I hold Stone accountable for that...he's the GM!

The young core is fine, or was fine more correctly when they were drafted. But they went through Silas and Ime years with little development and now they are behind schedule massively. Still, the only change that would make actual change is firing of Stone and Ime. After that there are paths to success with any combination of moves you make. You can trade any combination of the young core, or none of them and with the right coach and team structure still form a championship team.

But the current rebuild has failed for sure and any solution without firing ime and stone is just losing time.

They will try to gamble with another trade and fail again. Can't win with non-existent offensive schemes and flawed personnel. Give it 2 more years before Tillman pulls the plug on Ime and Stone.

They went from zero order and accountability to too much order and accountability.

And that gives SAS and OKC two MORE years of improvement while this team stands still. Way to go Rockets!

Ime looks like low IQ hot trash.

That's why he can't draw tactics in game.
