I would like to use him as the principle in a deal for Kingston at #5. (KD and a first) Regardless of who it is though, I want us to stay young, and extend the timeline.
I’m with you. A good young player or draft picks. I prefer Acuff over Flemmings. Better shooter, better scorer, better ball handler. A true franchise player.
A first round draft pick in this years draft, maybe a couple role players for bench depth on good trade able contracts and I’m happy as a clam.
But if Iko is saying KD is coming back and they are running it back overall then this conversation is moot. Stone and Ime know this is their last hoorah so no way in hell they are trading KD.
Someone threw out Herro/Ware and I think that one's pretty intriguing. I don't know if Riley goes for it though. I see Herro as a neutral contract but he fills a need, and Ware is positive and also adds big depth and floor spreading. You're probably adding assets to get the deal done considering KD's age.
You guys are idiots the front office aren’t trading him. I honestly do not get the hate for a guy who plays basketball
Naz Reid from Minnesota. Would have to be a three-teamer with Randle going out somewhere else for salary purposes, I think. (I'd have no interest in taking Randle back ourselves if I'm the front office. He'd be a good tank commander for Brooklyn, maybe?)
what @evo8lover said Kevin Durant is a consummate professional and I hope he will retire a Rocket Legend™ We are on a message board so none of the **** we discuss really matters but they aren’t trading Durant. Waste of time. Same with firing Ime and Stone. And if they do trade Durant, it’s because he asked out. And if he asks out, he’s controlling where he goes. Just like he killed the Golden State & Minnesota deals And he’s not getting you a top 5 pick. Crazy talk. “He dOeSn’t fIt oUr wInDoW” … what window? The window with OKC & SA? This “core 5” just lost to 41 year old Bronny, Luka Nard, Rui Hachimura and DeAndre Ayton and scored 78 points in the final game. Oh, he said some mean words about Sengun & Jabari? Even though Jabari played some of his best basketball afterwards? Even though 90% of you agree with what he said about Sengun and also want Sengun shipped up outta here?
My motivation has nothing to do with hate. I love KD. Again though, I want to get younger ...extend the timeline. Also, sell now.. on the heels of him playing 75 games at the level he is. KD's adjusted his game and knows exactly what to do to stay healthy. But, Father Time catches all. Do I think the Rockets will go this route? No. Then again...in MY perfect world, I'd fire Ime and Stone...while, also trading Sengun...for studly young guys/picks.

This would be an excellent trade if you already had a blockbuster for Sengun set up (not Giannis). Rollins and Trent solve your guard depth and Turner is a serviceable stretch five. If Sengun could bring you back another solid young rotation piece and multiple frp’s it would be a good stepping stone for 27/28 resurgence after Ime is gone.
