What would get you most excited about this offseason?

Ime and Stone suck, but we're also kind of insufferable as fans. (I'm including myself in that.)

Fire the GM... fk Stone for not trying to improve the team and constantly sitting on his hands...
Trade FVV and Tari... i like Freddie, but a year older and coming off a major injury... and tari is just stupid and inconsistent...
Fire the fan base... lotta empty seats at TC and a lot of nonsense on this board... although a tip - put DD on ignore and the place is more tolerable...


i'll give Ime 1 more year with a properly constructed roster... but he's on a short leash...
and KD is still an uber efficient scorer... just dont ask him to be the facilitator...

 

Get whatever you can for Sengweenie. Take a back a bag of chips if you have to.

 

Upgrade from FVV to a real threat at guard & go get Ty Jerome somehow to be our 6th man. I’d would be ecstatic with just those two things vs just bringing Fred back l. If KD wants to go I’d be good with something like Herro + MIA26’ pick

Upgrade the guards & see where that Nets27’ pick lands. If it’s still a rough season next year, I would look into trading Sengun or Reed before next years draft

 

I think we're deluding ourselves to believe Durant's attitude will magically change.

If we're stuck with him there's nothing to be excited about.

That said if we're going to throw away everything for Freak/Leonard/whoever and a shot at a store bought championship there's even less to be excited about.

 

Be satisfied with just Herro and junk. Miami ain’t giving up the 26 pick for KD. Riley is a lot of things, but he is not stupid.

 

Trade Sengun

 

Trade KD for Kawh and get a couple of point guards in free agency.

 

I'm not sold on the roster being as bad as it played. I think Ime is such a horribly untalented playoff coach that he makes the players look worse than they actually are.

 

I’d rather us keep reed but if I had to trade him other than Steph curry I’d include him for maxey. Dude took over last minutes of game 7 for Philly

 

KD & Eason for Butler & FRP

FVV for worst contract & FRP

1: Patrick is running the show so might as well have a bball guy there to bounce ideas off of. Ime righted the ship post Silas but this team needs new direction from the HC.

2: Getting KD came about 5 years too late. I hope management sees they jumped the gun thinking last year's team signaled shifting gears from talent acquisition to competing. Im not confident they have but this team needs more talent as currently constructed.

10: My something else would be sign Quentin Grimes or Keon Ellis and move KD to the bench. I think Amen, Reed, Jabari and Sengun are currently the future (soon to be augmented by 2 FRPs in the summer of '27). I would also move KD to the bench (this one is the stretch but he'd play about 25 minutes a night as the focal point of the offense behind Thompson and Smith). That sounds pretty nice for an almost 40 year old in the NBA. In teh draft I would pick Trevon Brazile. I am unsure yet about the Eason situation. I will flesh these ideas out over the offseason but for now its where Im at.
