The More I hear about the Epstein Files
The more I am leaning into No

It's not about having too much money
It's about having too much power (which is what the money grants them)

The fact that an Epstein Island Existed for over 30 yr says
They had too much power and influence
    and
Generally felt they were not only above the Law
    but Above common human decency

Curious why you needed to hear about Epstein Island to come to this conclusion

    While the actions of billionaires

    Sean Puffy Combs
    R Kelly
    Russell Simmons
    Bill Cosby

Were far worse in many cases, and they got away with it for decades?

the problem with socialist like yourself is that you fail to understand the concept of creating. You want to take a billionaire from one place and out him in a shithole country and claim he does no good. Ofc not, the locals will have him for lunch. Instead build a billionaire from ground up, who can survive the socialist hyenas and much wealth all around will be created.

    They were "far" worse?
Epstein had his hands in every western power and it was a island of 100s of billionaires
who were raping and eating children

I know for people like you . . .. a white man stealing billions is not as bad as a minority stealing hundreds
You definitely defend the caste system of justice
Epstein was working with men who INDIVIDUALLY were worth more than all 4 of them combines and multiplier by 50
    MusK - Gates -- Prince Andrew -
They people didn't only did every immoral and unethical act known to man
they used their time together to screw over the rest of society

Most Billionaires make their money using economic tricks and buying out poorer people's ideas and knowledge
They are not smarter than anyone
They are not more innovative. . they simply have more money and the ability to buy/rant people far smarter and more savvy then themselves

This ridiculous idea that these billionaires are boot strapping geniuses is the most hilarious think ya'll believe
Just admit that you think they are favored by God and are the Chosen . . .and that is why you deify them and worship them

Yeah, they were the worst (Musk wasn't associated with him). But epstein was prosecuted for 2 decades and ended up killing himself so the justice system didn't turn a blind eye to him. Right now my only issue is cancelling people who wrote random emails to him 25 years ago, before the accusations came out, but never went to the island or partied with him. Correspondence is not a crime. Neither is being in the same room as someone.

My point was this excites race agitators like yourself, while completely ignoring deviant behavior in your own community. Bill Cosby and Russell Simmons were no different than Epstein , and likely more wealthy. R Kelly, Puff Daddy and Jay Z (who is in the Epstein files) had all kinds of celebrities at their parties, drugging and raping underage kids. But you never care when black people do it. You never care about black on black crime. All your anger is reserved for whitey -- that's the only reason the Epstein files has you suddenly worried about billionaires. Your entire worldview doesn't revolve around actions, but race. THis is why democrats so easily control your vote while providing you nothing.

More taxes and more government programs provide more opportunities for Democrat and government elites to steal wealth. Newsom doesn't care that billionaires are leaving. He's enriching himself at the expense of poor and middle-class Americans and then he'll run for president. He's set for life thanks to all of the wealth that he has stolen.

Just a few charts. On a chart of billionaire donations, the top five by original net worth would be at the bottom of the list.

Forbes new 'True Net Worth' list will track billionaire giving

Elon Musk, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg: "Less than 1% of their net worth has been donated to charity: 0.9%"

“Compare that with the average American — teacher, fireman — [they] give 2% of his or her income to charity. "

"True Net Worth is your regular net worth, combined with the money you've donated, that we appreciate like you still own it".

“[Warren Buffett has] already given more away in today’s dollars than he still has, he’s pledged 99% of what’s left to charity, and he stipulated that all that money has to be spent down within ten years of his death, as opposed to just sitting in a foundation gathering interest for years,”

"Biggest Movers" ranked by appreciated giving. "MacKenzie Scott is giving away money faster, smarter - no strings attached - than pretty much anyone in history".

The mask is coming off because they think they don't need it anymore. For most of them donations to charity have always been performative and for PR.

The decent ones are the extreme minority - usually people like Ms. Scott who didn't actually hoard the wealth in the first place.

[Fortune] Peter Thiel is actively convincing billionaires to abandon the Giving Pledge—and it may be working

Apparently, he’s concerned the money would be used for 'leftist' causes, such as healthcare for the poor.

Why is that a reasonable comparison though — percentage of net worth in one case versus percentage of income in the other.

I don’t think the portion of net worth that is equity in major active companies can be treated on the same scale. I think charity relative to personal expenditure would be a more accurate metric.

It’s actually not a fair comparison. 2% of income comes straight out of money meant for rent, food, and bills, with no real buffer for something like a medical emergency or cancer. That kind of giving cuts into someone’s safety and livelihood in a real way. Meanwhile, 0.9% of a billionaire’s net worth doesn't touches their security or lifestyle. Even if they gave away 90% of their net worth, they would still be safe and secure. So even though 2% is higher than 0.9% on paper, the real-world sacrifice is nowhere close. But you have to start somewhere, so I get why the author framed it that way.
