Rockets sign Dorian Finney-Smith (4 years, $53M)

The Rockets need to just stay the course. They are getting key resources back, Ime has backed off his stupid 2 bigs and Reed and Holiday playing at the same time routines. Amen looks to be playing offense with more confidence and converting in the lane. His field goal percentage has skyrocketed over the last five games. Reed is improving his defense and gaining confidence on the ball. It’s really up to Ime to improve. There is no magic pill to be traded for.

 

We keep signing the same types of players, we need contrast, we need more than just 3 and D, we need Creative types too...


This roster is helluva flawed......because of that.

I just watched the highlights and around the 2 quarter the Lakers were coming back with Reed and Jabari on the court. Tari and DFs put a stop to it.

 

Assuming DFS gets fully up to speed, look for this to happen often when they come in for Jabari.

 

We really went over the cap for this scrub. Rob Pelinka was right about warning other GMs about his ankle and Stone thought he was bluffing. Nickeil Alexander Walker was right there...but Ime only cares about defense. Rockets may have to send out a pick just to trade DFS now and he's still just in the first year of his contract.

 

4 years, huh? Hmm. That's awesome!

 

Why is there no accountability for Stone for his dumbass signings?

 

What makes it worse was that the lakers warned him that his ankle was cooked...

 

Considering this hardcapped us from making any moves, this is a top 3 worst free agent signing in Rockets history. It literally destroyed our season. Rob Pelinka literally warned other GMs about his medicals and Stone thought he was bluffing. DFS and his agent convinced Stone that Pelinka was just trying to keep his market down and Stone fell for it hook line and sinker. How are you a lawyer and not able to see past that? Adding insult to injury was Pelinka and his Lakers humiliating and eliminating you while DFS killed us every time he was on the court.

 

DFS is a dud... but thankfully only 2 years were guaranteed...

 

Boy, was I drinking the kool-aid. Emotions sometimes take over from logic.

What the fck has stone accomplished as GM? He's made suboptimal draft picks, made shitty FA signings yet he hardly gets any heat. I sincerely don't get what he's done that he should continue keeping his job

 

makes LA much better as a sleeper agent

 

Stone should be fired off this one decision alone

 

Hire me a GM, ill get Cleveland to trade us Mobley and Mitchell for Sengun, Amen (sign & trade) w/ DFS, Capela and a pick.
