How do you lose against utah ? lol Some games were just straight horrid to watch. I mean these were games good teams win.
I dont give af what fluff pieces come out right now. They all came out in support of Green last year and talked about the learning experience and how they were going to grow from the failure. Then they traded 2 starters a couple months later. . Dont fall for it guys. Sengun is as good as gone and there will likely be others shipped off with him. The Rockets are obviously dumb, but they arent blind. They know this "young core" isnt winning anything significant.
y’all are really underestimating them actually thinking that adding FVV and Steven Adams next season will be major additions and their absence is the reason things didn’t work out this season so we don’t really need to change much
Let's wait until the summer and we'll see what this team looks like. I don't give a **** what front office says now.
I will, as I have for years. Rockets fans were born to suffer. I’ve been a Rockets fan since the San Diego Rockets drafted Elvin Hayes. That the team ended up in Houston shocked and pleased me no end. That we’ve sunk to the current predicament almost makes me miss Les Alexander. That’s how low we’ve fallen, in my opinion.
I wonder how much money and fans they will lose being stubborn. This reminds me of the Bill O’Brien & Jack Easterbey era Texans . When the ran so many fans away they literally were forced to make changes
What a bummer if true. I'm 100% on the fire Rafael Stone train. His post-James Harden rebuild is now a proven failure. Also, you have to be delusional to think that simply making moves at the margins will be enough to compete with the top-tier teams in the league. The truth is that this team is not one offseason away from seriously contending for a championship. That may take 3 or 4 years and we need a new GM to make smart decisions going forward.
I literally haven't watched the Texans since that group. But there were more reasons than that coaching staff.
Here's the Kelly Iko article After dreadful season-ending loss at home, the Rockets have no shortage of questions about their future - Yahoo Sports LORD HELP US!
I've been highly critical of Pattita for awhile - something about being the 3rd or 4th level scion of generational wealth dating back nearly 100 years at this point doesn't sit well with me I'm frankly surprised that this bro went straight from the Ole Miss frat house to the Rockets front office? You'd think Tillman would have ponied up enough donations to get him into a lower grade Ivy or equivalent and some stint at a hedge fund or private equity just to give him some less nepo-creds
Enjoy the summer gentleman, get your hopes up that maybe the Rockets will do something different (even though they won't), but enjoy all the long months of chats hoping that someday, hopefully before we die, we will win a championship. I wish as a fan there was a way to make meaningful change but our opinions mean jack **** if all of us collectively continue going to the games, buying merchandise and watching the games. Sucks to feel powerless to influence change.
Are any of these surprising? Stone has prepared for this soft landing since that press conference (probably much earlier). The only thing im interested in watching now is whether Stone (ashas the basic decency of taking responsibility for the disastrous offseason signings he has engineered. Only if so do I keep the modicum of hope I still have on this sad rebuild so far.
Yeah Iko’s going to write some innocuous fluffy piece. Dubose is going to have a 90 minute silver lining pod that manufactures the bright sides. And the org is wasting no time channeling Sam Amick to publish some PR piece to expose the twittergate as the ultimate season killer. Just watch. We as fans will only suffer.
