You shoot 5-for-28 from three, you’re not beating anyone. All year we’ve lost to teams hitting 40% from deep — that math doesn’t lie

Ever since Udoka mocked Alpi’s three, he hasn’t even tried another. A coach who keeps throwing his players under the bus and never admits his own faults. That’s leadership, huh? he could’ve missed just as badly as the rest.”

Curry didn't get to an allstar game until his 5th season. He didn't win a playoff series until his 6th.

I think we have a few years still...

The team never really had a chance after that. He took all of the chemistry and optimism they might have had and completely gutted it.

I could have jumped through the tv and strangled Stan Van Gundy last night when he was making excuses for our playoff showing and talking about how bright our future was. I’m yelling, stfu! U don’t know anything about what we suffered through this season or the real state of the team!

Sengun played hurt midseason because we had no center, yet he’s the one who gets torn apart. KD, meanwhile, sits out when he could’ve played, then laughs it up with the opponents after the game — and nobody says a word. That’s the double standard...

I know, but is Tilman willing to wait “a few more years”?

Stop this mess about being proud of the effort.

41 year old Lebron James playing 40 minutes
    Luke Kennard
    Marcus Smart
    Rui Hachimura
    DeAndre Ayton
    Broken Austin Reaves
    No bench whatsoever

is the worst team in this year and last year's playoffs. Losing 4-2 to this team is not promising for a young core that has playoff experience.

I don't care about effort, I can get effort for the vet minimum. Effort is expected, it's not an accomplishment.

Disgusting performance from the team. Lost 4-2 to a team that would struggle to win 35 regular season games. We're supposed to pat them on the back for the 2 wins? Screw that.

Bring in a President of Basketball Operations and a lead offensive assistant immediately. Ime needed 4 future head coaches as his assistants in Boston. The front office and the coaching staff needs an overhaul.

The organization and many fans never gave Jalen Green a pass for his first playoff action, and now we're stuck with KD.

Trading KD for Jalen and Brooks was a huge mistake. The front office caved to fan pressure, shipped out a star, and now there’s no team left. Now they want to do the same thing again. Trying it knowing you’ll get the same result is pure stupidity.

My pre-game take was that LeBron would attempt to GOAT the Lakers to a win and that the Rox would either get whistles or at least the refs would let them play. What I didn’t expect was a legendary scoring collapse. SMH

We need a new coach and GM and a lights out elite shooter who doesn’t kill locker room chemistry with juvenile **** talking behind everyone’s back.

Still very optimistic about our young core. Alpy needs to take 1,000 three point shots a day and Amen needs to take 1,000 shots a day from anywhere this summer. Reed needs to get laid or whatever to build his confidence.

Hey, y'all. I'm sorry for checking out when the series started. When I saw the news about KD's injury, I thought, uh oh. So I kind of took a mental health break from the forum. But I know this collapse is hard on everybody, so I just wanted to come by and share in the misery. It was fun talking through the season with all of you. We'll get through this.

And this was less than 3 games after he made 5.

    • “At this juncture, there are no plans to move on from either Udoka or general manager Rafael Stone, sources told Yahoo Sports. Ownership has remained steadfast in its belief in a three-pronged leadership sector because of a combination of the turnaround in recent years and consecutive 50-win seasons, the latter of which was marked by major injuries — resulting in confidence from the top down.”

    • “One of the prevailing internal beliefs concerning this roster is assuming that VanVleet and Adams are healthy — along with Durant — the Rockets aren’t too far removed from Western Conference powers Oklahoma City and San Antonio.”

    • “…desired additions such as the Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard, the Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell, the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo and the 76ers’ Joel Embiid, among others, will be discussed, sources said, but fit, opportunity cost and price go hand in hand.”

    • “Houston plans to re-engage in conversations around a long-term deal following the conclusion of the Finals, team sources said, in hopes of striking an agreement ahead of July 1. In the event that both parties fail to reach a common middle ground — there’s an understanding the 24-year-old could change management ahead of a pivotal summer — and Eason signs an offer sheet elsewhere, Houston, which still values his two-way contributions, would be expected to match.”

    • “The Rockets will also meet with Thompson in hopes of agreeing to an extension, team sources said. The 23-year-old is eligible to sign a five-year, $252 million max extension, according to the CBA and salary-cap analysts.”

    • “VanVleet has a $25 million player option for the 2026-27 season, but the Rockets, who are confident the veteran guard wishes to remain in Houston, will speak with him about either picking up the option or declining it for a longer deal, sources said.”
