I'd be open to trading anyone on the team

100% trade him. The only consistent looks he gets are putbacks off our shooters' misses. A player as skilled as he is deserves much better. This feels like capturing a rare, precious animal from the coasts of Africa and locking him in a cage at a ****ing zoo.

Here's what's going to happen imo: he's 23 and in a few years he'll improve from the 3pt line and become a better midrange shooter. I'm not talking about Jokic level shooting he doesn't have that kind of touch but more like Vucevic. Vucevic wasn't taking much trees until he was 27 then he kept taking more 3s improving year after year. In fact, Vucevic’s 3pt percentage at 26 and Sengun's at 23 are nearly identical. Even their ft percentages are very similar. I expect a similar trajectory but it'll happen on a different team. He'll be a 24/10/7 type of player in his prime, make a few more All-Star selections. He won't be the engine of any team but he'll be a great second option, one of the best in the league. I'll root for him but i'm going to continue hating everyone who ruined it for us.

If you hire an inadequate coach who misuses your best players and an incompetent GM who misconstructs the roster instead of building one where they can flourish, you're going to face some ugly consequences. This is just the beginning, darker days await every single one of us.

I saw someone say he plays like Angel Reese without the rebounding, now I can’t unsee it. I’m tired of watching him miss layups because he lacks touch around the rim. He’s the only player that consistently throws up prayers while standing right under the rim. Some of his attempts are so bad it looks like he’s trying to miss. Trade him while you can.
