ClutchFans Game Thread: Lakers @ Rockets 5/1/2026 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 6)

Honestly...I feel good about how this all went down. We showed our young guys have some potential by even getting to a game 6 after everyone laughed at how stupidly we lost game 3. Then we went down in embarrassing fashion, proving we need some big changes going forward.

Then Denver and Orlando messed the bed just as bad, if not worse than us. Hey, at least we weren't the 3rd seed with two star players in their prime, losing to a team lead by Jaden McDaniels in the first round, levels of embarrassing.

 

Embarrassing, glad I didn’t get my hopers during Toronto Cleveland when it got to 35-18 and a serious scoring drought. Serious changes needed.

 

Just knew early on the rockets would lose. It was a home game after all. Houston sports can’t seem to win at home in the playoffs any longer. The home court disadvantage is what it is.

Lmao Orlando was not even supposed to be in the Playoffs this year as they were pretty ass therefore going 3-1 was a miracle, don't forget the Number 1 seed Detroit...they underperformed.

 

Feels like the last day of school. Next time we do this again, team looks diff. I’ll miss you guys!

Yeah... 18 1stQ pts and followed that up with 13 in the 2nd.

I looked it up.... our worst was 2018 G6 vs GSW... 25 first half points.

Our two lowest scoring first halves of all time were playoffs, game 6's.... against the Warriors, and last night.

 

Woke up this morning to an L. Didn't watch the whole game, but from looking at the box score this is another total team failure.

There is only one culprit when a team has no abilityto create an advantage, and from what I saw of the game, the Udicker has to go with his lack of offense coaching skills and his negative attitude.

Keep the young core, let them grow.

KD needs to be traded to the Pistons.

A guy like KD is actually a perfect fit for them. He's best buds with Cade as well. Just make sure we get Ausar and a good shooter back.

 

Why the **** do we need 2 defensive specialist roleplayers who can't shoot with zero fundamentals? Hell, let's trade for Jalen back too if we taking the fools gold path to guaranteed failure?
