    First-round fodder once again

buggering up the roster for Giannis seems foolish

but how long are you gonna wait for these young guys to come around? By that time, you would’ve had to pay them another contract

We were never gonna win a chip with KD Adams and Fred. It was a stupid trade. We should have just continued the rebuild but no they wanted shortcuts. "Were not in the business of developing players anymore" - Said the idiot who has a team full of young players. He needs to be fired with Ime.

Meine Damen und Herren, mesdames et messieurs, damas y caballeros, gvirotai veravotai, minasama, ladies and gentlemen-

I have no insightful analysis or scathing wit to contribute to the postmortem that hasn't already been said.
It's been an honor and a privilege. As we confront yet another bleak, far-too-early start to a far-too-long offseason, I wish for you and yours all the peace and prosperity I wish for me and mine.
H-Town ball CANNOT be kept down-
    Clutch City WILL rise again....

( perhaps not in my lifetime, possibly not in yours either, but banners shall be hoisted )

Last year's team would have not surrendered the ridiculous number of rebounds like they did tonight... doesn’t help when everyone shot like Angel Reese.

With our luck KD will get a 5 year extension too. They're gonna get GIannis and the entire NBA is gonna glaze us and then he'll be out for the year lol

Last year Butler got hurt. We just played a series where Luka and Reaves were hurt. Their best two offensive players.

Various Lakers role players along with 42 year old Lebron took turns killing us. Our coach was outcoached all series. The one game KD played we lost by 7 points.

I dont think theres a team in the playoffs we would absolutely beat. And Id pick both the spurs and OKC to beat us fully healthy outside of their top two guys. Warriors healthy without Shai is still beating us in 7. Ditto Spurs.

I just dont share the optimism that this team is anywhere close. If I take a step back and look at this team objectively trying to have an outside perspective, there is nothing scary about this team. We had KD healthy all year. One if not THE best scorer the nba has ever seen. Our offense was still ass.

If I were an opposing fan I wouldnt fear playing this team at all. Even non playoff teams I feel would like their chances against us. Hell, a lot of those guys had their way with us this year.

I think how bad the Rockets are will be put into perspective for a lot of fans after the Lakers get skull drug by OKC next round with or without Jdub.

Ime is not going to let that happen. Us miss the playoffs? My thing is trading Alpi for Giannis. In a rebuild you believe your players are going to make progress every year.
Jabari has always shot the 3 ball. What other facet to his game has he added?
Alpi looked like crap on defense all year and got exposed most games by opposing centers he was supposed to be better than. Maybe some of his defense was coaching, but everytime he missed a bunny and yelled for a call, it made me cringe.
Amen can't shoot and he's due for his extension. Do I believe you can rebuild around him, yes. I believe he will get better, because he's made strides every year. He was a plug in type guy that usually was in the dunkers spot.
Most of the players I named have inked a deal. We are past the rebuild, because we are stuck with these guys with no draft capital for 4 or 5 years.
Do you think any of the guys I named get significantly better? Maybe Amen, maybe Jabari, but Segun has regressed. I'd rather have someone who comes off the books a lot faster than 4 or 5 years. That way we can have proper rebuild, instead of being the New Orleans Pelicans.
Think about it? Alpi comes off the books with the trade. Giannis is off the books, Fred is off the books, and KD as well. Thats a whole lot of money to get the right pieces around the 1 or 2 core players.

You ignored the entire point and just doubled down like I said the young guys would be superstars and I didnt. Fine they are role players. We need to keep rebuilding till we get a superstar. Trade Alpi for Giannis fine. We're not winning a chip and if we get extremely lucky and he's not always injured then we are likely a first or second round exit in the west anyway. Youre just wasting time and picks. Even with Fred and KD healthy you think we were gonna get past the Thunder this year? Next year we could easily get the Nuggets or Wolves first round and still lose in the first round even with Giannis. What's the point?

It is awesome that Sengun is already thinking of ways to get better and improve as a player.
Good chance he isn’t on the same team as KD next year though.
