People are blaming every single player on the roster for the 4–2 loss. That should give you a hint about who is really to blame.
Reed’s final playoff stats 32 mpg 12, 1, and 5 on 31/30/75 splits 27-88 from the field, 16-54 from deep, 3-4 from the line
Everyone who thinks Reed Sheppard will be something special & he is better than Castle is just braindead, plain and simple. Feel free to wait for another year and comeback to this thread.
Disappointed in Reed today. He needs to be a somewhat consistent shooter. If he can’t even do that then he is not going to turn out to be much.
He both held his own to a degree and looked inexperienced this entire series. Another offseason in the weight room and conditioning along with working on those skills will hopefully unlock that next level. I see him more of a combo guard, never the primary playmaker, more of a Derrick White connector. I know White sucked in the Celtic series, but that's still the type of connector and shooter we need.
You'll find I've never made a single post about Castle in my life. Go to bed, you're embarrassing yourself.
I will call it RIGHT now, Reed will be better than Castle. Right after his horrible playoff series. What's wrong with a little confidence? I've been wrong before...
He has no handle at all and he doesn't seem very quick. Add that to being undersized and a streaky shooter.. it's not a good combo to have.
Terrible series. but what does it say about us that we’re relying on a guy with his first real NBA minutes this year and first actually playoff minutes last week he is a career role player that will likely be a redick or korver type. You need those on championship teams. If we get a proper coach that can teach offensive schemes greater than a 24 hr fitness pickup game he may have more to give
No matter the system. Players have to be able to get their OWN shot at some point and thats where Reed struggles.
