34% from 3s against the lakers for a shooter, dude needs to be better dude should be beating big men off the dribble but can't gonna be a busy offseason for this guy
He’s a de facto rookie who didn’t get meaningful minutes last year so he’s learning on the fly. Udoka robbed him of his confidence and should be fired because of it. He deserves the starting job and the offense should be ran through him. He has potential to be our Steph Curry with his unlimited range. *sarcasm*
that was sarcasm if you didn’t notice from the gif lol. that’s what all these Reed fanboys been saying all year.
Don't you dare bring out the DFS acronym. That should be reserved for extra shitty occasions Reed absolutely did suck this series besides a good two-play stretch, though. Cannot deny that.
He will be fine. Mark my words. Reed is the least of this teams issues. We can't have FVV as our starting PG. Yes he had a really bad series as a whole, but he is gonna get better.
I don't think people realize why he is such a streaky shooter. It's not about his form his form is great. Its because he is very small and to avoid getting his shot blocked, he takes shots from well beyond the 3pt line. You can't consistently deliver the same efficiency every night while taking five 30 ft jumpers unless your name is Stephen Curry. His offensive contribution is also very reliant on outside shooting. He needs to improve his ball handling and get to his spots more consistently. He's a pretty decent midrange shooter imo. He just has to stop taking too many threes and mix it up more.
The thing that stops Reed from being a Mark Price-like player is his lack of a super tight handle. He's actually pretty quick and has good passing vision (and GREAT hands). But if he doesn't work on his dribbling and ball-security, his ceiling will always be capped--because he's just not that tall or long. I do think he's a really hard worker though, so this offseason will be illuminating.
Scored 12 points on 12 shots in game 5 and people were ready to hand him the keys to the franchise lol. The hype is insane
What’s his position on the court? At his size he needs to be able to run point guard and I don’t think he has the goods for that
What's hilarious is this was his first playoff series and so many are ready to punt him to the dark side of the moon. But Clutchfans somehow still had so many people saying "it was only his first playoff series" to excuse yet another garbage showing from Jalen Green. Crazy what jumping high does to fans and makes them lose all common sense.
