Unserious franchise. I don’t understand how you can watch a coach blow 4th Q lead after 4th Q lead, have the worst OT and clutch records in the league, with 70% of our losses being clutch losses, and still keep this coach.
It's absurd that the franchise considered the season washed bc FVV and Adams went down.. Why are they treating it like Hakeem or Harden went down?? Those losses could have been mitigated if they acted with urgency. If they're going to punt on a season everything a role player goes down... well, that's unrealistic. It's the NBA, injuries happen. Injuries this year have been pretty damn mild when you compare it to the Astros last year. Say what you want about Espada and his IQ, but he never waived the white flag.
How could you mitigate 40M in salary when you have 1M left can you tell me? You want the Rockets to do some panic move like Bucks stretching and waiving Dame just to do some desperate short term move? Who else among OKC SAS and Den has season ending injury to important players? what I find ridiculous is everybody knows Rox have no chance this year but Stone stating the obvious makes him a bad GM. WTF
That's why Stone is the GM...it takes creative thinking in times of crisis. I remember Carroll Dawson picking up Chucky Brown who ended up starting in the Finals....Elie was a cheap pickup that ended up being a major contributor. We needed shooting, we found Sam Mack. Hell, when Matt Maloney remembered he was a scrub, enter Moochie Norris and have him start right away. Nobody is asking for a big splash to make up for FVV or Adams, but improvement on the margins can also go a very long way. I don't know specifically what the answer is, but doing nothing is almost always NOT the answer.
Pretty easy. I highly protected frp and scrubs could’ve had Ayo. Even less could have had Alvarado. Ayo is a better player this year than all but 4 players on our roster.

I think Ime adds value to the Rockets. It’s time to add to the coaching staff though. If Ime can’t handle that, then he needs to be placed in a different role within the organization. He deserves to be part.
