108-95 lead 3:01 left in OT Win %: HOU, 99.7 Up to that point… Ant missed the whole game. Gobert fouled out. Naz Reid ejected, McDaniels left with injury. It doesn’t get worse than that as far as collapses go.
All of the above! A few bad losses are normal, but as the OP said … way too many. Almost another one last night! They need to rest KD, he looks tired. It may be just me, but he sucks on defensive rotations late in games. His is good on ball, but he just can’t move on rotations. It was a problem for Phoenix last year… just put KD in a situation where he is the help side defender and you can create rim runs or open 3’s over and over again - especially is Sengun and Sheppard are also on court
All these losses were frustrating and it's why the Rockets finally broke me in March and I stopped watching every game. I'm afraid to tune in to the playoffs and see what disaster happens there, but I'm afraid I can't turn my back on the team either. It's crazy that we have a winning team, yet I've hated watching this season.
Least humiliating - Blazers are actually a decent team. Underestimated them. Rockets didn't have Sengun both of those games - Jazz is one of those "anyone can beat anyone" games. Was a weird back-to-back playing in same city. Was early in the season can shake that off. But was the first game showing signs of issues to come - Knicks, not good. But at least they're a good team playing in their home arena. Rockets crushing them next game is some bit of salvage. - Warriors, that f*ck*r Kerr just knows how to coach against the Rockets even shorthanded. Warriors is as much Ime L as team L Most humiliating: ** OT loss to T-Wolves Cuz that game was the buildup punctuation from all the previous disasters. Along with being historic worst ever bad
Definitely Minnesota. That was a historic choke on national TV and it came at a critical point of the season where every game mattered and the Rockets had just no showed against the Bulls a couple nights earlier. It was also a fitting collapse that pretty much sums up the year Ime has had as coach.
If anything, this should be an eye opener to everyone that thinks signing bums like DFS and etc were taking this team anywhere. Our Rockets are a glorified D league team. Not a single player that can shoot or score without an assist or 5. Rebounding is atrocious. It’s so simple, it’s difficult for these rejects. In any event, the NBA probably paid all these players $500k to half ass and brick FTs. That’s the Adam Silver way.
You are correct. Playing an elimination game at home and this is the best the Rockets can do? An absolute joke - at least we won’t get smashed by the Thunder.
Def this one. If Lakers don't put all the bench players in at the last two minutes, Rockets can't even make it to 70 pts.
Its sad that G3 AND G6 could both make this list and get serious votes too, pathetic. I'm glad we didn't get swept, but my god.
93-71 Lead 7:52 left in the game Win %: CLE, 99.9 Only James Frauden can make a Rockets collapse look like Child’s play.
Type of Guard the Rockets need Kobe Bryant only 20 years old and taking over the game. Amen Thompson is 23 years old and can't dribble or shoot.
