https://sports.yahoo.com/nba/articl...s-to-get-help-for-nikola-jokic-143353603.html I was actually thinking about it after Denver lost and it's a good idea. He is younger. He basically fills Jalen Green's role. He is more of an off the ball player and maybe better with the system of the Rockets.
I was thinking about this earlier today. I've always liked Murray, and I know he sucked in this year's playoffs, but it's not like that's his norm, he's generally been known for having strong playoff performances. The biggest stumbling block is that Murray is very overpaid. If he were averaging ten or fifteen million less per season moving forward, it would be a lot easier to stomach his contract. $50M next season, $54M the one after that, and then $57M for a #2 guy who isn't a great defensive player is pretty crazy. I feel like to even be able to afford that without ending up in the second apron, you have to find a way to shed some other salary, and/or have an agreement with Amen on a very team-friendly contract ahead of time.
Tempting but think I’ll pass. I’m still stuffed from all the bbq chicken we have on the team already.
All these trade proposals are being written to cause drift and turmoil within our team. We're still in the playoffs and all these dumbass proposals are written by Lakers propaganda. STFU
I’m not wild about the contract ($52 mil per yr the next 3 yrs?), but he played at an All-nba level this season, and we could really use him. I don’t see him as a franchise player, and I’m don’t think he makes us a contender, but we could do a lot worse than Jamal Murray. I doubt Denver would do a 1-1 trade, especially if Jokic isn’t on board.
These trades range from insulting to extremely insulting to the Nuggets, but while we're daydreaming, Donovan Mitchell would be the perfect backcourt running mate to Amen. Jamal is right up there.
Hell to da naw! They couldn't beat the T-Wolves without ANT...dude had the best Center in the league and got bounced out the 1st round. What do you think Murray would do with Sengun? KD is on a team-friendly contract and we can get some good assets if we were to trade him to a contender such as the Heat. I think Herro would be a good fit if we were to trade KD. After seeing FVV on the bench these past few games, makes me think we should prioritize trading him...he's looking fat as f♤ck these days. He's been enjoying too much Pappadeaux and Mastros. More body weight is worse for the knees...he need to drop some weight or get benched like Steve Francis by Rick Adelmam for weight/conditioning problems.
I know we are down on him, but he is still uber efficient and a legit 7 footer. So I believe so, yes.
I'm in the minority, but I think Jamal Murray would be perfect 5th starter for our current roster. Amen slides to SF. We'll need to work out the defense, but offensively his shooting and playmaking would fit in well. He's expensive, so I'm not going to send any PHX draft capital with KD, but if we could sign-in-trade Tari and get Braun back, he'd be a great bench player for us. He avg 25 pts/7 assts and shot 44% from 3. Oh, he only averaged 2 TOs a game, which would be a nice change from KD. Denver's front office is in a state of flux. I worked with the previous guys and thought they had done a decent job up until this last year. The pressure is on to take advantage of Joker's prime before he declines, KD is an all-in bet for them. I doubt Nuggets go this route, but it's an interesting thought.
