Trump is just flat out bad at getting things done ...

Trump Regime Not Crushing Clean Energy Like Planned

In March, the US generated more of its electricity from renewable sources such as solar and wind than it did via gas, the first time clean energy has surpassed the planet-heating fossil fuel for a full month nationally, according to data from the Ember thinktank.

While this was just one month, it follows a record 2025 for renewable energy. The pipeline of new power coming online in the US is overwhelmingly green this year, too, with 93% of all electricity capacity added in 2026 set to come from solar, wind and batteries. Just 7% will come from the fossil fuels that are dangerously overheating our world.

The undaunted pace of the renewables rollout comes as the Trump administration’s attempts to stymie the industry have floundered in court.

Occam’s razor version: it’s excessive self-promotion coming from an unmet internal need.

Absolutely. His Narcissistic Personality Disorder is driving him toward perverting the course of history just like the narcissisms of the "great men" he's supposedly competing with have done. For the non-narcissists among us, we can probably do without these "great men." Except the beta cucks. They love self-aggrandizing, selfish, cruel "great men" for some reason.

I don't agree. Our vocab might be misaligned. "Great men" don't self-promote; others do it for them (merit). Weak men feel a need to self-promote. Someone who does it to this extreme is unwell, maybe shaped by nature, nurture, or more likely some combination of both.

That's why I use quotation marks. The article cites Genghis Khan and Alexander the Great as his competition set, two more guys that made everyone else suffer so they can aggrandize themselves.

    Thank you, Trump voters!

Trump Bulldozed a 1,000-Year-Old Archeological Site to Make Room for a Second Border Wall

DHS was in talks with the wildlife refuge that hosts the ancient site to make sure it was protected, a local archeologist said.

    Adam Federman
    April 30 2026, 7:01 p.m.

A rare archaeological site in the Sonoran Desert was bulldozed by a Department of Homeland Security contractor involved in building the latest sections of Donald Trump’s border wall, according to multiple sources briefed on the incident.

The area, in a remote corner of Arizona’s Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge, is a nearly 280-by-50-foot etching in the desert sand known as an intaglio.

Last Friday, without any notice, a contractor working for DHS cut a roughly 60-foot swath across the middle of the intaglio, doing irreparable damage to the 1,000-year-old artifact.

Cabeza Prieta, one of the largest wilderness areas outside of Alaska, also encompasses lands sacred to the Tohono O’odham Nation, which borders the refuge to the east. The O’odham have fought to prevent border wall construction across their reservation and during Trump’s first term largely prevailed; they also managed to protect the intaglio and a nearby burial site that they consider to be part of their ancestral lands.

“I liken it to destroying the Nazca lines — something that culturally we should have been relishing and promoting. Not destroying,” Rick Martynec, an archaeologist, said in a phone interview, referring to the hundreds of figures drawn into the deserts of southern Peru.

The destruction was confirmed by a federal employee with direct knowledge of the incident, who asked not to be named for fear of reprisal.

The Rs want to fix their cost-of-living messaging ... perhaps by proposing another tax give away to the top 1% or by further demonizing an already threatened minority.

    POLITICO:
A top GOP super PAC warns ‘the Republican Senate majority is at risk’

Leaders of the powerful GOP super PAC Americans for Prosperity Action are calling on Republicans to fix their cost-of-living messaging.

Top Republicans are growing increasingly anxious that the Senate, once seen as a lock for the party to hold in the midterms, is at risk of flipping as Democrats continue to hammer President Donald Trump for the cost of living and foreign intervention in Iran.

That fear is laid out in a new memo, shared exclusively with POLITICO, from the powerful GOP and Koch-aligned super PAC Americans for Prosperity Action, whose leaders are calling on the GOP to lock in on the cost of living or risk losing power in Washington.

    Et tu, CBS News?

A Trump crony now runs CBS and CBS News. Trump must be hopping mad that his cronies are not carrying his water like he expected.

Gas prices have been way too cheap and have been starving innovation. I remember when Democrats used to be pro environment, which was something I always agreed with. Just yet another example of the DSA co-opting the worst attributes of the mid 20th century Republicans.

Another obvious and lazy lie. Seriously, the Kremlin needs to evaluate the quality of your work lately. It's truly pathetic and boring.

    https://apnews.com/article/trump-of...tion-climate-3cf2dd4eb0cc9cc5442e204583057453

Where was your outrage the other day when Trump literally used millions of tax payers funds to stifle pro-environment, pro innovation???

This is just another example of how much of an unserious, lazy hack you are. Democrats are furious at Trump trying to roll back pro innovation energy projects.

You also have no concept of how basic economics work. There is this little known concept called SUPPLY AND DEMAND. If gas prices are cheap, that is an economic indicator of lower demand in a free market capitalist system. What Democrats, and really anyone that is pro free market capitalism with innovation, and efficiency should want is a marketplace of energy competition that ensures that we have access to competing energy sources that give us the best, most competitively priced, and efficient products.

In a vacuum cheap gas prices would signify that actually the demand for gas is lower because of alternate and more efficient energy sources are available. Energy in general is cheaper.

#1 - Everybody who bought into the "Trump Jesus or a doctor" lie, how you feel about that now? Is this Trump as a lineman for the county, stringing telephone lines on phone poles?

#2 - Gramps can't keep himself in check any longer. The dementia is winning and impulse control has left the building. He just walked into this landmine a couple of weeks ago, and he had to scramble with a flimsy lie to dodge it. Now he wades back in again?

Jesus Christ only dreams that he was as impactful a world leader as is Donald Trump.

Pious Christian, who dutifully read the Bible and who are true believers, likely see Donald Trump as the Anti Christ, no?
