Yeah, this lineup might be one of IME's dumbest. With that brain, how did you even make it to this age? Fascinating...

Do you think the referees will favor the Lakers? Are you expecting scandalous decisions?

This team has no offense so it will be easy

Hey at least we aint the Nuggets! I remember lots of people said Nuggets had the best offseason!

Traded MPJ and a pick for Cam Johnson (who some posters here were claiming is an offensive powerhouse and much better than Dillon Brooks)

    Signed Jonas V

Signed Nuggets Bruce Brown over WB

Chose Wolves and then lost to a team without Ant, Divicenzo and Naz Reid lol

If you told me Nuggets would get eliminated before Rockets after the first playoff game I would have laughed in your face.

I agree with the sentiment that the Rockets will need their best effort tonight. A few things change in Game 5 and they're already eliminated. I know the game could have also been a Houston blowout, but still.

Good question. The whistle was more or less fair in Game 5. A Game 7 in LA would be nice for the league. But the Lakers in the Second Round would be better.

Does Scott Foster hate Rockets or was it Harden/ CP3 issue?

This series has shown us LA desperately needs the 3PT. They shot 41% vs Rox 29% in Game 3 and still took a miracle to win. There's zero chance you could switch those numbers and Rockets don't win by 15+.

    - Lakers shoot poorly
    - Rockets shoot well

    Either one happens, Lakers L

Both teams shoot well.... advantage Rox
Neither team shoots well.... advantage Rox

Lakers losing the TO battle is a further death knell. LeBron is wearing down which will effect his shooting and playmaking... and could lead to more turnovers.

Stay solid on D and get this back to LA !!

I will be genuinely surprised if they win today. I have prepared myself for a loss.

Foster is usually sent to extend a series.

Lakers need a magic pill to make LeBron's endurance revert back to Games 1 and 2. He doesn't have '2-day rest" luxury anymore. Plus there's travel between each game now.

All advantage Rockets, but we need to perform.

The bad news is Scott Foster has been assigned to Game 6. The good news is he now can't be assigned to Game 7.

(Although Foster tried to hand us that game at Minnesota and the Rockets still managed to cough up a 13-point lead in less than 3 minutes.)

The league would profit from a Rockets win extending the series, but I would never expect a win when Scott Foster is called in.
