Abreu has cost himself an insane amount of money. At this point probably going to be signing a one year prove it deal.
15 walks in the doubleheader and 9 of them scored. 8 with at least a 5 run lead and 5 scored. Infuriating.
I can't believe someone suggested trading Yordan. He's the only one I ever count on to bnng it at the plate, and send those balls over the wall.
Sure, less $28.7 million of Crane’s cash. As for the offseason I suppose he said yea let me have that 5.8 and skip arb but this dude is going from possibly backing up a truck to a bank vault to just trying to cash in his loose change during the offseason. What a crash at the worst time.
Astros have a top 5 offense. Astros for 2 consecutive years have had the worst health in baseball. That matters. Astros will still likely finish around 500 or better.... unless their current health remains the entire season.
The good news is... if we keep winning only 1 out of 3 games the rest of the way we should be back at .500 in no time.
I really hope that avoiding sweeps is not what is keeping Espada and Brown on this team. It is what it is at this point and both of their failures are apparent. I want the changes made.
