I have family all over Nebraska, and many of them sound like your Mom, but not all. I was honestly surprised how many No Kings protesters lined the streets of downtown Hastings, NE back in October when we drove through town. I didn't see anyone lashing out at them either. It was pretty peaceful. I didn't expect to see that many protesters in a town with a population smaller than Alvin.

 

Is MAGA finally waking up? I wish, but none of those people asking questions were MAGA…those were Dems who happen to live in MAGA country

 

I like to use my family members as a litmus test to see if there is a change and I am sure some have, but no one I know has changed. IMO they won't unless it directly affects them, obviously higher prices EVERYWHERE is not enough at this point. We need people who don't usually vote to get out and VOTE, you can't b**** and moan and then do nothing
