(Poll) Is KD too injured to play or has the org benched him?

I'd like to see him come off the bench for 15-20 minutes. We're still desperate for bench scoring and IMO it wouldn't destroy the momentum we're building.

 

Durant played every game through Dickerson-gate, and every NUMEROUS game chokes all season. Through every game that it was clearly his fault. Why would he all of a sudden sit out the playoffs, after starting the playoffs? It only makes sense that injury is keeping him out

He's our benchwarmer, the towel boy. He'll wipe the sweat off others, hand them water and he'll like it.

 

no point of playing him, even if we go to next series, we are not going to win against OKC, just let the young guys play, i just want to see growth from the players

The Dickerson cancer was diagnosed at the ASB. It took until the playoffs to remove it. You do not put cancer back in once it is removed. KD himself might be scared to play now because if he does and they lose he knows how that will make him look but I think the team is keeping him out.

 

Don't play KD the rest of the series. We need to the trade ammunition this off-season.

 

I’m hoping it’s the players that have rallied together. Stone and Ime aren’t big enough forces. Look at the way they carry themselves. Ime’s selfgratifying always right and Stone’s no action self.

The players on the other hand, Amed sure, Smith maybe, or Sengun possibly having issues with Katie then the other two siding against him, too. Katie being out numbered leaving knowing he is not alpha. Then is forced back, rolls his ankle —> injured first game back. —> Katie doesn’t know where to fit in as a teammate.

If a HOF players gets hurt diving on balls in practice, going into the play offs, then coach should be fired on the spot —> Mismanagement —> story to cover the real story

They need to have the injury out there on Instagram or it’s leaves everyone who follows the team to wonder which is it. On my mind quite often.

 

Ime has mismanaged KD all year long, he was 2nd in minutes in the entire damn league - behind only Amen.

At his age, they should have been giving him as much rest as possible, not riding him into the ground.

I don't know if they'll fire Ime or not ... but he damn sure deserves it - the offense looks like some playground shiit, KD's minutes and for all the hype he gets for being a defensive savant - the defense wasn't that good either and that's with him playing 5 forwards at the same time - 5 dudes who are good defenders. Then there's how he jerked Reed in and out of the lineup .... playing DFS over Okogie .... all the blown leads.

There's more than enough reason to run that fraud out of town. Let's hope Tilman isn't Less kinda cheap - he's already paid the tax as many times since taking over as Less did in 24 years (Once) .... it's only money.

 

KD clearly sprained his ankle. It's on video in Game 2.

Is he so hurt that he can't even try to go? I'm not sure. But at this point, I'd sit him the rest of the series(he's for sure not playing Game 6 according to reports). The Rockets are capable of pulling off the miracle without him and the confidence boost it would give this young core would be massive. Plus if they do complete the comeback sans KD, it gives him time to rest up for the next round where he would absolutely be needed.

 

I think he benched himself, I think he doesn’t want to risk whatever years he has left. Udoka and co definitely seem pissed about it though

KD had a knee contusion, played 40 min and injured his ankle. They said it was about two weeks when it happened. If we make it to OKC, he will play.

He’s got a real injury, but I don’t think he’s in any rush to come back either.
