Thompson is absolutely our guy to build around and I actually like him more than anybody that has come out over the last few years other than Victor.

the roster also includes two shooters under team control for the next few years in Smith and Shepp. both should continue to get better. Reed maybe has a higher ceiling, but don’t forget that Smith is still only 22.

keep the one veteran that can set an effective screen and the other veteran point Guard that can steady the ship.

Build around that. Adams and Thompson need to be the only poor shooters in the 10 man lineup.

I would probably lean toward letting him go to restricted free agency in lieu of going north of 50 million at this point.

I have a lot of faith that he is going to figure out the three-point shot but I give him $50 million if we are just going to run him into the ground?

If there is a little bit of a middle ground like Smith sign, then I would look into that.
