Yeah, let's get older and more injured. Who dreams these scenarios up?

Durant for Herro or Wiggins and Jovic would be the deal that I think is most likely. Obviously, I would love to acquire Ware.

For salary matching....Sign and trade Tari, FVV, and DFS, and one pick for the Claw.

Contingent on FVV liking LA and waiving that no-trade.

Would be the single worst trade in the last decade (borderline worse than the Westbrook trade)

This is how I feel about a lot of the names being floated. I didn't suffer through the tank years only to see them trade away all of our young guys for guys with one foot into retirement. My thought process is this: will trading away one or more of our young guys actually put us in a position to compete with the Thunder or Spurs? If the answer is no, then I'd rather watch the kids grow up. And the answer is no on all of the names I've seen floated.

    Do not want Kawhi.
    Do not want Giannis.
Do not really want to keep Durant.
    Not so sure on Alpi.

But, I'll take Alpi of the 4.

    Is this team lacking? Yes.

Should the team make desperate moves for big names that doesn't actually advance deep playoff runs? NO

Sengun probably has to go this off-season. But not for ancient Kawhi...

For sure. That was 4 years total and I watched 300+ games of it. I would think they know Durant and someone else in in their mid 30’s is not going to do it. There is more than enough past history that show what the makeup championship team or top 3 team has. It’s not past their prime stars.

Trading away good young players for older players is almost always a mistake, and there is NOTHING more boring than a mediocre team made up of guys on the back end of their careers. A trade like that would be my worst nightmare for this team, but I could VERY easily see Stone doing it.

The moment a GM floats the idea of trading young, emerging players for old dudes to win now, it's time to fire him before he demolishes the roster to secure is job with desperate moves. Stone and Ime have to go before they sell the morons in ownership the idea of trading Sengun and Amen for Kawhi and Giannis.
