What do you think? It might be he has a knock but I think the org has basically shut him down.

You hate him because he's not a scrub like the guys you support. A know it all who knows nothing. I'll take food reviews from you though.

He plays all but 4 games all year - missed only 1 due to injury (IIRC) and now he/org are shutting him down?

    Nah, i dont buy it.

Only thing I will say is that not being on the bench for G3 was a terrible look regardless of "around the clock" treatment or not. All reports point to 2-3 weeks injury - if that's the case, he wouldn't have been ready by G4 regardless.

Yeah my initial thought was he just quit on the team, but I think he actually is hurt. He's just not going to play through it and risk further injury when the series is already effectively lost. But he's still an a-hole and a bad teammate.

I have done some research and designed a chatbot to assist me in drawing this conclusion: this post is correct.

Why would organization shut him down? Makes no sense.

Neither he's a soft b**** in hiding. He hurt his p***y. The entire point of KD was the playoffs. I dont care what it is, this is a failure.

Well the team is better overall without him, for one.

Maybe because he and Ime got into something, the way Ime talks about him, just doesn't add up - nor his teammates not knowing about his rehab status, it just reads like there is something not right, they aren't looking forward to him getting back, they are oblivious to his condition - seems to me, through the tea leaves and conspiracies methodology, that either he pissed off IMe or the team decided they want to move on and sidelined him.

I think Durant has played his last game as a Rocket.

If you really think the Rockets would intentionally sit down KD in a playoff series after running him out there all season, then I’ve got some ocean front property to sell you in Arizona.

Don’t overthink it. He’s probably actually hurt. They’re being cautious because if a 52-year-old tries to play through a sprained ankle, it could never recover and be the end of his career.

That said, I’m enjoying the team without him, and would not be sad if he doesn’t return next year. He’s a difficult fit for the team, and his scoring is a crutch that keeps other guys from improving and being able to play their game. He’s not the right fit.

yes, and it is nonsensical to doubt it.

he played in 78 games at age 38 and was in the top 5 in minutes played.

    ime did this.

I think he actually turned his ankle, but that's not really why he's out.

He was a game time decision in game 3 and 4 but ruled out 12 hours before game 5.... here quit on the team (and the team likely was done with him and his BS)but they are using the "injury" as an excuse to hide that fact.

This… he could play but he knows they aren’t going to get passed the 2nd round so it’s not worth the risk of a larger injury

Plus, he doesn’t want to play in OKC.

I gotta admit, when you have an opinion, nothing shakes you loose. The team isn't better off without KD. But the experiment failed, sure, because there was no plan B when these guys started getting hurt.

But Durant's days being numbered as a Rocket? Possible. It's either add another aging star to pair with him or get satisfactory return for him.

Maybe the organization is protecting his trade value

KD is actually injured, and you’d have to be r****ded to think otherwise

he injured his knee, and now his ankle…maybe if this was the finals they’d toss him out there injured and not really ready to play, but not for this lost season

he is 37, and they have him signed for 2 more years or might try to trade him in the offseason…throwing him out there to possibly rack up more serious injuries hurts both scenarios
