Robert Kraft is a powerful guy with a lot of connections. Him doing everything to kill the Vrabel story seems to have gotten Chris Simms fired from NBC. Wasn't a huge fan or anything but I liked that Simms always gave the Texans their due.
Not a big fan either, nor am I a guy that revels in hearing about someone's personal life. If he did something criminal (Vrabel), then ok get to the facts, but in this case it looks like its an issue between him and his wife. This doesn't seem heinous enough to justify a firing, but it's clear the other guy is trying to steer him away from talking about it. So someone at the Network must have told them to squash the story.
Mike Florio and Chris Simms have been beating the Russini and Vrabel (now just Vrabel) story to death with near-daily videos from the start, with Florio as the lead man. Up to the point of these comments, Simms has been more restrained with his remarks. Florio talks a LOT about off-the-field stuff; it's part of his schtick. It seems here after so many videos beating this topic death in which Florio was the driving force of the discussion, Simms decided to finally loosen up and crossed somebody's line. With Mike Florio (of all people) as his partner cutting him off after <15 seconds saying, "Stay on target", Simms should have instantly frozen and known he really messed up. There are a bunch of NFL people who would love it if Florio got fired, but he is seasoned and knows where the line is. Simms has never come across to me as a very sharp guy at all.
Normally, I would say this is pretty unfounded since it is being reported from an X user and the sole evidence is that tweet. Anyone can make claims on social media. But in light of that clip earlier where Chris Simms was saying he was hearing from a lot of head coaches and their wives...there just might be something to that. If so, Caserio is lucky nothing came out about him until after the draft. Vrabel had a lot of tapdancing to do. Caserio can just lay low until training camp starts. By then people will have forgotten.
Am i the only person who thinks Russini is far too unattractive to be getting this much attention? Why is she some Siren to rich dudes? Maybe is its some weird fetish where the dudes get off on someone having sex with them to get information.
Probably more of a 2 year deal with Texans having an out in year 3. Have to wait to see the numbers. Also, Azeez is the heart of the defense for Cap so I get it.
Love this move, the one game he missed we could not stop the run and did not look nearly as dominant against a horrible Raiders team. He’s basically an extension of Demeco on the field and sets the tone, amazing leader to have for an elite defense
She's attractive enough and is in their vicinity constantly. Cheating is not about attractiveness but also about circumstances.
