Wow, I'm not sure I understand where the KD hate is coming from. I've been busy lately but I try to keep up. Did I miss something? Or is this just general shade being thrown?

In my Opinion its not only one thing, where the hate come from. It was the Whatsapp leake at the All Star weekend, the one game where he played bad at the Play Offs and the third game, where he dont support his playing Teammates and a lot of Fans and Reporter are not sure about the Injury! I personal dont believe that he is so injured, that cant play. Its dont feels that he is sacrifice hisself for the Team!

    I think thats the reasons.

    It is some combination of:
    -Burner account
    -Team morale/performance
-Body language (especially the signature KPJ walk back after TO)
-Not showing up to a play off game when “injured”

When you look at our season compared to last, you get a sense that something is wrong. What changed since last year?

The not being on the bench to support the team in game 3 thing was the last straw for me. That's just basic. It's like being there for grandma's funeral. Come on man.

As expected. Bone bruise = no more BB.

Not sure why they did not get an MRI or whatever is needed to confirm it (from day 1).

Throwing the entire team under the bus with his burner account. Stunting the development of the young core... possibly irreparably.

Apparently, a lot of people bought into the idea that either he can play or he is not supporting his teammates by not being on the bench in G3. They are not buying the explanation that he was rehabbing his injury during G3.

He was on the bench in G4, and everything looked normal and upbeat. Maybe that just gets chalked up to the Rockets winning G4, but it does not look like there are any issues between Durant and the rest of the team.

entire team? wasnt it 2 tweets - 1 about bari and 1 about Alpi?
and 'stunting the development'? What? playing next to a HOFer? Is this more bs about poor disadvantaged 'generational shooter' reed sheppard not getting more shots? lol

Even with all his playoff failures, Harden is a better player than Durant. At least he got a team to Conference Finals as a lead dog, KD can't even win 1 game in a series

idk KDs actual injury status... maybe he's hurt... maybe its bs.... idk...

but the level of disdain that many are showing for KD is rather gross...

This dude is a HOFer who had an uber efficient season... recognize!

Did he have a lot of turnovers? yep... trying to force the guy into a facilitator role thats not his forte... and good gawd, yall lived through Hard-ons turnovers... lol!

The Dickerson tweets were bad... but it was on the downlow among his buddies... it was stupid - but bari and alpi were screwing up... had to be frustrating... it isnt like he had a news conference and announced that they "just werent good enough..."

all i know is that if i was an NBA star... i sure af wouldnt want to come to Houston... deal with a bunch of ingrate fans and play in a half empty building...

sure... lets compare the ability of a 38 yo KD this year with a twentysomething Harden from a decade ago regarding the ability to lead a team deep into the playoffs...

The fact thatur even making that comparrison tells u the greatness of KD... Do u think a 38 yo harden is gonna be the lead dog?

    christ....

I feel sorry for anyone who genuinely believes KD is injured. Thats a really bad level of naive to be in life.

    LoL, Come on DD, everyone.....

Bone Bruise takes 1-2 weeks to heal, hes out , he even tryed his hardest to play on it game 2.
    Injuries destroyed us this year.
Its no big deal, the young core got taste of what it takes in the playoffs without your vets, its good
experience for them. There young and so talented. Future should be good.

Something is definitely amiss. He played through that ankle injury for like 7 mins in G2, walked it off as it was nothing. Udoka clearly expected him to play in G3 and G4 and up until yesterday in G5, and said it’ll be a GTD both times, even though he specifically pointed out he didn’t participate in practice - not that they didn’t let him, he didn’t. If you were indeed a GTD wouldn’t you show up to see what the game plan is? Or give input and feedback? Add to that Amen saying he doesn’t know what KD is up to - he clearly wasn’t around the team at all. And Jabari taking a dig at him beforehand. My guess is he’s handling this on his own terms with his personal staff or counsel, and Rockets and Udoka think he can suit up but he doesn’t want to. Make of that what you will, but something is clearly not right.

Dude is a competitor, and just played 78 games and almost led the league in minutes at age 37.

What's naive is to think that injuries couldn't happen in that scenario. Occam's razor.

If he could play right now, he would be.

He was a real competitor in that Wolves Overtime meltdown.

Or both, KD doesn’t want to play hurt and risk being able to pass Kobe next year and the FO doesn’t want to lower his trade value because they realize he poisoned the locker room and must be moved
