thanks altuve. 2 runs because he couldn't play defense properly worst team in the AL it can get worse
The Altuve botch in the 1st Correa, Paredes, Altuve choke in the 7th Game was lost in those two spots
At least it wasn't the pitching again. If I'm an MLB hitter facing a middle reliever with the bases loaded I leave the bat on my shoulder until there are 2 strikes.
I haven’t been on here in a few days so I’m not sure if this has already been discussed. But would yall be open to Cora being the next manager? I think it would be a homerun hire. Not sure if it’s even realistic, but I’d swap Joe out for Cora in a heartbeat.
Reading through the Fire Espada thread, I had forgotten a lot of the issues with Cora while he was here (the drinking and the way he came after Blummer). Makes it seem a lot less likely he’d be back. But he’s certainly a better manager than Espada.
The L's keep adding. Astros are no longer the *single* worst team allowing runs after the Nats served eight to NYM, so there's that. Lambert tries to repeat his great debut tomorrow. Bassitt vs Yordan should equal 2 walks but we need a hit(s) afterwards. Offense went 2-17 RISP first game... pathetic. Road record is now 3-11... insane. If we can stop sucking for a week the Angels might take over last place after their recent worse sucking than the Astros.
prob depth perception issue - similar to TMAC at Toyota Center … I really would like to do a study on that, and if building a team around players who had a better depth perception at home - just how much of a advantage
Man, it's just not fun to watch when you suck, if we can't have a SP make 6 quality starts yet this season then its going to be a long season. The Phillies and Red Sox have already jettisoned their coach, it's time for the Astros to follow suit, will it help, probably not but its time for a change and TBH it should have happened last year
