find a different team, or get demoted to strictly draft/scouting (at most)… ONLY if a new GM — HIRE SOMEONE FROM A CONSULTING OR TECH FIRM (who knows project management / how to manage the right people that person hires, who knows advanced stats & analytics, and can put the right people in place they trust to come through)… — wants him in the org (and I think k it would be wise to work along with, in transition, but accepting a GM of drafting & development department/silo, hiring a GM of international/global development arm, and then let your new GM handle the MLB/AAA/AA developmental, day-to-day roster, coaching & training staff)… and at that point, either DB still works for this org or not is beyond me.
