I'll take what comes right now. We're certainly CAPABLE of beating them with Reaves. I'm viewing all this from a long term perspective.
Durant is hurt, there nothing saying he faking a injury nor wants to be gone. I assume they run it back. Its sad injuries just ruin this year.
At least KD was on the bench last game. Probably saw everybody trashing him on sh*tter and got self-conscious. I still don't have a good read on the ankle thing, how severe it is, whether he could play through it or if it's just an excuse to quit on the team. One way or another though, playing a 37-year-old the 2nd most minutes in the NBA this season was maximum stupidity by Udoka. Should have at least rested him on most B2Bs and eliminated the temptation to play him big minutes two nights in a row. Just stunning levels of coaching malpractice. And I don't care if KD wanted to play, you sit his ass down.
Kd ain’t scared of no smoke. That man loves ball. He loves to play. I’m not his biggest fan but he plays when he can play.
I'm still just pissed he wasn't on the bench supporting the team in game 3. There's no reason his treatment had to take place during those exact three hours. I think he's a locker room cancer. But I guess he actually is hurt.
Unless Reeves is rusty and plays limited minutes, I don't think the Rockets can win game 5 without KD.
I think a rusty Reed hurts us less than Kennard. We will see. Odds are way against us winning in LA with or without Reeves. Refs f*cked us in game 3 and now will go for sloppy seconds back home in LA.
Some guys blow it up in their first game back from injuries. Sort of like beginner's luck and I have a bad feeling about Reeves this time. Your normal, pessimistic Rockets fan here.
I think it could happen for sure. Ime has turned me into a pessimist. I may have been the most optimistic fan on the site, prior to last season.
This is really growth opportunities for our young core. Lakers will give their best in Game 5 so it's going to be a good measuring stick for the young team without KD.
