Rockets winning this game is the WORST thing that happened

KD trade had turned out great no way I wanna be stuck with Jalen Green, have a low lotto pick and then give it to OKC.



I pay money to watch Rockets games even if the season ended in a sweep I would still rather watch the Rox win games during the season than lose them esp when we dont own our own pick.

 

This is how some of you guys think. Like KD was the only trade we coulda made for Jalen. It's dumb man im sorry. Love how youre only showing Jalen too no Dillion like thats all we traded. Theory: Lakers are secretly prolonging the series with a loss or 2. Because it's better to be in 2nd round with Luka & Reaves in more 2nd round games, rather than less than full strength

Win-win for both teams

 

The win chances absolutely nothing. Kennard and Smart will turn back into Steph Curry prime on the Lakers home court and they win going away. I’m happy we won so we didn’t get swept on our home court.

 

Winning against half banged up Reaves, Doncic would be so much sweeter in 2nd Rd.

 

Rockets played game 4 as if their pride depended on it. The Lakers coasted most of the game, and got complaisant.

Game 3 is more what i expected game 5 to be played like. Lakers are probably going to come out with the mentality of not playing with their food. And the Rockets need to punch back with ferocity! If the Rockets stand tight and keep their composure, the Lakers will give them this game.

Lakers know they have 2 more games to close out the series, so they will maneuver their energies to max either one of the next 2 games.

As long as the Rockets play with pride and professionalism, game 5 should go in favor of the Rockets.

 

Yeah, there's also this little matter of the 10th pick in the last draft

 

The Lakers will definitely be more focused and intense in game 5, but they’ll also have more pressure on them. If we don’t lose our heads and stay focused, we can beat them like we beat the Warriors in games 6 of the last playoff. Everyone believed back then that they’ll send us to Cancun, but we were able to send them back to H-town for game 7. Only then we let them send us to Cancun.. oh, the bitter memories.. At least this time we’re not losing to the Warriors again, I guess that’s something..

 

If the young guys have learned anything it's they can win without KD despite his label of being "great". He's about stat padding not being on a team that plays for each other, winning together. KD is just a better Carmelo Anthony. Now that we see the results of the KD experiment I hope Rockets management can use what value he has left to get us a shooter who can integrate with the system already in place not disrupt it. Get rid of KD.

 

Ideally, KD sits the rest of the series and the young guys take it to game 7 themselves with heart and grit. That’s the best case scenario in my mind.

It’s then on the front office to fully realize their KD mistake and get us back on the trajectory we were on with smarter moves and better understanding of this teams identity.

 

I will never root for the Lakers to win any game, let alone win over my Rockets.

 

This is pretty much the only long-term asset the Rockets gave up to try this season.

 

KD was the best guy we could have got and we only paid a tenth pick to get him and dump Jalen. We needed a closer and a superstar and while he is old KD still has star power and one of the most efficient players in the league, almost the opposite of Jalen.

You are the one full of **** what else did I miss out? Dillon Brooks? LOL Dillon Brooks is just ok. He is good but compared to what KD brought he is markedly worse.

KD 7 yrs older still got more rebs than Brooks lmao. Like I said Brooks is ok but not some major deal breaker. Y'all just think he made the team amazing when the Rockets were 11-11 last year without FVV even when Brooks was there. How come he couldnt make us win more than 50% if he was so good?

 

The beauty of sports, is sometimes you see things that have never happened before and that is marvelous.
