I think one of the reasons his threes don't fall is that they have a very high arc. The release angle seems a bit too high so the entry angle is steeper than ideal. That means he's likely releasing the ball with higher initial velocity than others and it enters the rim with more speed after falling from a greater height. That probably leads to harder rim interactions instead of soft ones. I noticed that he rarely gets friendly bounces maybe that's one of the reasons why.

 

I could only SMH watching Ajay Mitchell in game 4. On offense, he looked like a shorter, thinner version of J-Dub. When SGA rests, they are in good hands. He can run point, has floor vision, create his own shot and is fairly efficient. On defense, the gap between them is massive, but you can't have everything.

I'm curious to see how he does as they continue to advance.

This is Mitchell's second season and he was drafted in the 2nd round! His ceiling isn't that high, but it seems so unfair. I think the Rockets would have won 60 games this year with him as the starting PG.

That contract probably caps the Suns for the next 3-4 years. They need to add a legit superstar AND another player at least as good as Booker to contend.
