I don't think lawyer boy is going anywhere. Probably taking a nap right now. Will wake up on February 20th after the deadline.

He went to the Mavs as a GM but he left there after a couple of months because of a power struggle supposedly - it was all weird.

He then went to the TWolves where he was fired (and also had a relationship with a co-worker that I thought most people said didn't contribute to the firing, but who knows). They replaced him with Sachin Gupta (another Rockets legend who Morey loved, and people wanted to be a GM here. Gupta, last I read was working for that European kickball team, Chelsea).

I believe Rosas is with the Knicks now.

GM's don't need to be retreads. The most important thing is that their constantly being evaluated for performance. I don't mind letting some new basketball savant type get a shot but if he sucks can him and find a new one. At the end of the day, we know Tilman is the boss here. The GM needs to bring in fresh ideas and push him to consider new perspectives.

Stone sitting on his hands all year knowing full well FVV wasn't coming back and we had a 38 year old star really pisses me off so much.

I could be wrong, but my read is that the KD drama and him missing this series due to injury is bullish for Stone and bearish for Ime. I could be wrong ofc.

Because KD was an Ime acquisition. Stone/Witus just papered it, after resisting. Stone did not go from making his bones betting against KD teams for years, to wanting KD all of a sudden.

Pretty clear from reading between the lines from leaks and insiders as it all went down.

This org has two poles of power. Ime + KD + coaching staff + KD's guys vs. Stone/Witus/young core/future draft picks . I don't think the Stone side is losing.

That's a bit of an oversimplication sure, and I'm sure it's all copacetic on the surface, but incentives are not aligned IMO.

Like it isn't going to be Lil Patty Fertitta.

People really need to do themselves a favor and stop day dreaming of other scenarios happening.

I want a clean house. If Eli Witus is the mastermind of all of these, I am not impressed.

I want a GM who will prioritise shooting, spacing and pace again.
