Repeated efforts to kill the US President is a really bad thing for Americans. First - it highlights the instability and degree of relative chaos that exists in the USA in 2026. Second - it also highlights the level of disfunction in the USA right now. This doesn't mean that the USA is doomed or going to lose world power --- the USA has gone through these periods before, the Civil War .. the period right after WWI is very similar to what we are dealing with now... lots of assassination attempts, concerns over immigration .... economic instability and a rapidly changing world. However --- if you look historically, in the USA and outside the USA-- usually these periods ended after some sort of extreme war that lasted years and fundamentally changed the lives of the US people. Maybe this is what the USA and West needs to happen .. all the WWII vets are dead, soon those that remember the Soviet Union and Mao will all be dead too. I will be too old for war, but I feel for those that are young coming up in this.
You're ****ing stupid. Those are just words, but they are based on 25 years of documented stupid posts on this board. Yes, I it's personal. I'm tired of your r****ded ****.
When you go online too I would say like a good 70% of people that comment on the assassination just assume it was staged. And regardless if it was staged (I don't think it was personally) the responses from the regime to politically weaponize it automatically, and celebrate it as a political win as well as our main stream media acting as preposterous as they have to assist the regime in weaponizing it, conclude that it doesn't really matter if it was staged or not. Same outcome. That is a pretty good indicator that there is ZERO trust with our current government, and especially our media. Without media you can trust, and an assumption that your government is lying to you about everything, it's impossible to see civil society staying stable. These situations usually ratchet up until there is a breaking point rather than slowly ratcheting down. I envy that Hungary is seemingly looking to be able to rachet down from where they were non-violently. It's still early for them, but that turnaround for that country that had the same issues on a smaller scale is the best case scenario for us here. The only way this ends non-violently is likely the same... mass turnout for elections in a way that just cannot be rigged. That's probably our only way to peel things back quickly and without some sort of catastrophe that finally resets the tables for our country.
Republicans are overreaching again just like they did with Kirk’s murder. Demanding for firings over dumb jokes. Demanding Ben Stiller of all people explain his Knicks tweet. Comparing the shooter’s manifesto to common dissent from random social media users. Just like with Kirk, this will backfire. This time, there is also the weird ballroom obsession thrown in… When a man shot at the White House when Obama was president (and three bullets hit White House windows, including cracking one on the residential level), where was all the outrage and concern from Republicans? Where was the crackdown on Obama’s detractors? Was this even more than a one-day story? https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna45335315 “MAGA Bomber” Cesar Sayoc sent pipe bombs to every prominent Democrat and “anti-Trump” media figure and that story faded away in less than a week. Most people would have no idea who that was if you said that name. Maybe they’d remember his dumb van.
The problem with the shooting is maybe security, but they stopped him on a separate floor, far away from where Trump was, so was security even that bad? Political discourse will always be heated. Four presidents have been assassinated and many others have had attempts on their lives. It comes with the territory. There will always be sick people. Violence is never the answer. But, Trump and MAGA nutjobs are the last people on earth that should lecture others on the tone of their rhetoric. The people that laughed at Pelosi’s husband’s assault? The guy that celebrated the violent death of Rob Reiner and his wife? The sick little ****s that make music videos and lame memes of bombings and immigration raids? Give me a break. MAGA bathes in violence like pigs in mud.
nobody needs to apologize because you do not understand the difference between a transgender shooting up a school vs political assassinations. hint: nobody agrees school shootings are ok but an entire political affiliation (democrat socialists) like yourself believe political assassinations are fine. and the absurdity is the Democrats during the 40s did not agree with assassinating Hitler. That is how unhinged you lunatics have become.
security wasnt bad. The lunatic who tried to rush the SS thought so yet here we are people in this thread quoting the delusional lunatic as a solid source.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche- “Political violence will not be tolerated “ Unless of course you want to attack the Capital to help a corrupt President stay in power after losing an election. If that happens then everyone gets a pardon.
