    My understanding is the whole movie ends in the late 80s, before Paris Jackson was even born. So, what does she even know about that Michael jackson?

    Saw it on Saturday...it's basically a reenactment of multiple concerts, with some stuff in between that we already knew. Jaafar did well, but all of these performances can be looked up on YouTube for the real thing. CGI Bubbles was comically bad. I am a huge MJ fan so I will enjoy almost any MJ content, but I can understand why the reviews have been poor.

    I wish they went more in the style of the Brian Wilson biopic, in that one they spent a good portion of that film going into how Brian made the Pet Sounds album, and the rest of the film went into what made the young (and later old) Brian Wilson tick. They tried to do that with Michael but it was stale, the Thriller formulation was generic and the whole "I want to be the best" was just low hanging fruit.
