I like Mike Budenholzer but him and KD probably don’t see eye to eye.

no one likes budenholzer. Won a title then underachieved after that. Public dispute with GM and berated players which devolved into him losing the locker room

It wouldn't be an assistant coach in the NBA, as the front office doesn't have the necessary knowledge to properly interview and evaluate not well-known candidates. So either a big name or someone who was previously with the organization and/or has connections with the current players. Tiago Splitter seems the most logical choice. Steve Nash maaybe? I'd like to see what JVG could offer if he came back for a second stint, but I'm not sure he would accept it. My pipe dream would be hiring JVG for the front office, but again, not sure he would accept working alongside Stone/Patrick.

Let's just make KD head coach and GM as well. He will lead us to the promised land.

He already led us to the burner land and the baked lands.

Your local middle school coach would probably be better at offense.

Balanced on both sides of the ball (typical of championship coaches).

Not automatically closed to new or old ideas.

Good development (Kirk Snyder two MIP winners in a row).

Budenholzer is an excellent candidate imo. Won a title with medium depth/cost and did it with a star who can't shoot = valuable experience.

I don’t understand. JVG played a terrible brand of basketball that fans complained for years. Even more unbearable than the current version. Besides he hasn’t been a head coach for over two decades. Has won zero championships. Nash has done nothing. Zero championships. Why are you saying these guys are good options?

Are you saying you want to reunite him with Giannis? Lol.

Budenholzer couldn’t win despite a superb roster until they added Jrue (who seems to be the missing piece to a championship everywhere he goes). He then lost to Udoka the next year then in the first round the year after that despite having a number 1seed. He is reportedly harsh and clashed with both players in MIL and PHX not to mention a public spat with the MIL GM. Why would we want a terrible leader like him?
