Rockets winning this game is the WORST thing that happened

    We needed the Rockets to get swept,

    They are still going to lose this series.
    But it gave Ime & Stone and slight slither of protection and it’s about to give blindly optimistic fans a false sense of hope that we can win , just so they can get their hearts ripped out of their chest in one of these next games.

    im old enough and been a Houston sports fan long enough to know this is CLASSIC CHOKE territory for a Houston Sports team.

    The like to play with your emotions and give you JUST enough hope to think they are going to win and advance and then let you down when your hopes is highest.
    Don’t fall for it fellas.

    Call me pessimistic all you want.
    I’m a realist and all the realist knows how this is going to eventually end.
    They just prolonged the heartbreak and actually made it worse.

    The Win is fine,
    It’s the fact it may mean that we are stuck with Stone & Ime going forward is the issue

    Honestly man, I was one of the ones wanting a sweep after the first 2 games but last game was tough.

    our guys played their buts off and they’re a lot easier to root for without Kati.

    Let them have it. Ime and stone are charlatans, they have their narratives ready regardless so it wouldnt have mattered

    All we can do is root for the Suns to get swept. The Lakers don't want that smoke with the Thunder.

    I actually think it was a benefit to have the young players play as well as they did tonight and come out on top easily.

    they made the right pass way more often tonight. Instead of relying on Dickerson to bail them out.

    I feel very, very good about building this team around Thompson. this year is going to end and disappointment regardless, but there are some things that we have learned.

    I have no issues with players. I’m glad for them to have heart and some self respect.

    I’m looking bigger picture that if we don’t get rid of Ime & Stone they will just find more incompetent ways to hinder our young players

    You might be right but...If the Rockets brass need the team to get swept to evaluate their decision makers then this franchise is a complete lost cause under Tilman.

    as much as I want them gone, Ime and Stone were never going anywhere this offseason. they just signed extensions. and they have the excuse of no FVV, Adams, Durant. thats a bigger excuse than winning 1 playoff game.

    No one wants us to move on from the current regime more than me, but I’m certainly happy we won. Once u reside yourself to the truth that you are powerless to impact what Tilman decides to do with the team, it gets easier not to assume any cause and effect outcomes. It was fun watching the game not caring much about the outcome.
